How To Meet The Work Registration Requirement For Florida’s Reemployment Assistance Benefit Program

Florida Unemployment goes by quarters. So if I don’t meet a certain amount for a quarter - I can apply, but will be denied. I’m allowed to apply for quarters in 2022 including the most recent which is October, November, and December 2022. But the months for January, February, and March 2023 somehow doesn’t count despite the fact we’ve entered a new quarter for May 2023.

It’s nonsensical, because the quarter is already over. Why can’t I enter wages for that quarter which literally just passed?

I already know the answer: the system is rigged. Republicans love telling everyone to go to hell when times are tough. They believe everyone is a freeloader in the state. I don’t understand how people love a state that will not help them through tough times. And it’s crazy too, because there’s only a certain amount they give anyways - so it’s not like you can circumvent that circumstance. Our benefits are the worst in the U.S. And that’s not an underestimate. We jump through hoops just to go through their convoluted system just to be denied.

Unecessarily complicated, just point and click preffered.
