Good morning, my name is Alberto Firrincieli,
I am an Italian pianist, harpsichord player and composer
and I teach in the Music Department of Assumption University in Thailand since about 12 years.
Today I wish to present you my new course Piano Music Labs.
Piano Music Labs is a course for beginners, intermediate and advanced piano students and it aims to create not simply pianists, but competitive, well-rounded and capable musicians.
Why this piano course
This unique course blends the practice of the piano repertoire with indispensable subjects:
classical improvisation, counterpoint, composition and sight reading.
All these subjects have been always integral and essential part of music classes for centuries.
How Piano Music Labs works
You can customize the course according to your goals. For example, you mind to have examinations, competitions, or simply acquire a solid piano technique or expand your repertoire with an historical approach, or simply develop specifically one of the new subjects offered like
classical improvisation, or composition, or sight reading. That’s why Piano Music Labs
is perfectly compatible with piano courses held by other piano teachers.
Why we should include these subjects in our modern study of classical music?
If you wish to go beyond the simple reading of the score, or if you want to rediscover and deeply understand the real essence of classical repertoire, you should reintroduce classical improvisation,
composition, counterpoint and sight reading in your daily practice and studies, in order to create again the necessary environment and proper conditions to let classical music grow up in a fertile ground.
