I share a birthday with John! 1/31. Mixed results on "Happy". Generally people are worn out and lacking in funds to celebrate, the weather can be an issue, and it is also the middle of flu/cold season. More than half of my birthdays have been spent ill and unable to truly celebrate. However, there is usually Valentine's candy available in the stores, so I tend to get good chocolate as a treat!
