@Admin nimm das nächste Mal anstatt Spatel etwas SPIRITUS gegen Heißkleber! 😉
Excelente
Super ❤
Very good
Fantastic
Nice. Is the bottom magnetized as well? Do you need to use the bolts to secure the unit to the drill press table?
Ответитьbrilliant
Ответитьjust buy a mag lock and use that quicker/cheaper/better
Rdzeń transformatora nie nagrzewa się ?
A Shottky diode in there is a must though against flyback current which can destroy the psu and cause a fire. Been there...Just saying
Can these magnets be wired in parallel or is series the better option?
Thats so cool!
What a great video i have started to make my own with a 10 amp 12 volt supply and when i tested it it does work but isnt very strong how can i make it stronger ? Thanks to anyone in advance
How much pull force will this generate?
You lift it up instead of hanging on it. how much does N*m withstand?
2 things, firstly I'd be scared of scratching it up, it looks too nice to use in a workshop and second, could you not have connected the framework to the magnet so it holds itself down when switched on
Was there a reason for one of the coils upside down?
Nice idea. But dang - hack sawing all that metal off the top is just too much work! A bridgeport with a flycutter been easier!
Another dose of bullshit
All done with basic tools. Very very nice. Thank you.
Very cool project!
That is run on 240volt input
Cielos, que macizo!
Curious what it would take to make the vise simultaneously magnetic on the bottom so you could place it on a metal surface and hold parts for an angle grinder.
Which transformer winding should be used? Primary or secondary?
Thenks my frend.. 👍🤚
Clever! 👍
Ответитьthat's really good thanks
It would be nice if you could actually explain what you are doing and name the components.
Because you showed me this, I will have to make my own 😁 . This is great. Why didn't I think of this before?
What's the plastic that you put down before epoxy? Contact paper?
Hi, I tried your build but there is something not quite right and wondered if you could help. I built my vise with 2 transformers and I am using a 12v 10amp transformer but the gripping power is very weak. Any ideas off the top of your head as to why? Both sides of the vise are weak, barely 5lbs of pull. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Bob
Ответитьwhat are the downsides (if any) to this homebrew build? I'd love to build a couple of these for my mill and surface grinder.
What is the sticky sheet of vinyl called that you placed on the sheet metal? Trying to look it up but can't seem to find the right stuff. I liked your video so much i wanted to try it myself. Now i have a piece of Plexi glued to my frame and a LOT of epoxy leaking past the glue into the tub i put it in. LMAO. Live and learn.
Ответитьvery pretty Very niceGood video thanks
I have a question about the electromagnet. Can an electromagnet be used to hold parts to be welded? Not directly but it would be placed on the metal sheet and the welded elements on it. Rather, there would be no risk of overheating of the electromagnet because the welds are small and the magnet could be located at a distance. I mean, would there be any interaction with the electromagnet during welding?
Was that the primary or secondary coil that was saved and reused? Also where did the other coil come from? Looks like two transformer were used to make this even though only one taken apart was shown. I guess that you can even mount the vice with the magnetism.
I chose to do a simple repair to my microwave because I wanted to heat up my coffee.
Ответитьperfect work👍👍👍👍👍👍
Merci beaucoup pour la vidéo 📼
Ответитьwhat is the minimum amperage needed?
Ответитьwow
I'm not normally impressed by videos of this type by others; you though have impressed me greatly. Very nicely done! Can i get the full plans and instructions to make this also please ??
Regards,
Eddie
