I just joined and everyone saying the game is bad, might as well get the shinies for funa. Though I have to agree,most of the so called updates are utterly disappointing compared to the past, and I'm wondering whether they just want to kill the game with all the money grab,or just go back to the covid days, I mean they can make tons of money and the players enjoy the game

I think roar of time is preferred for free to play players and spatial tend is preferred for hardcore players

Anyone else agree that Tymamo was the worst comm day?

IMO the first avatar update was absolute trash but now that it’s better I love it. Yes, the way feminine clothes fit is still a little off, but getting access to all clothes as well as more hairstyles, customizable body sizes and shapes, and faces is so good. I love that my avatar looks like me and that I can see all my friends’ avatars look more like them as well

Tynamo wasn’t really really bad because when you fully evolved it it would turn into eeleektross

Sir when it comes to the worst feature added me personally I would say what matters most is how much it affects the game play like adventure effects changed the game play but when it comes to bad features added changing ar ruined ways to catch pokemon fast compared to a avatar thing just just looks bad


To sum it up the worst feature would be the ar change cause it took away key points of the game that made a lot of top strategies possible

Part of me wants to say Gmax was worse than the avatars. No ticket=3-4 Gmax battles. Compared to raid days, no ticket=8-9 free passes

Medi wasn’t seeing a lot of play since psychic nerf, and, picked up an ice punch buff. Gligar being top meta, having both its charge and quick moves nerfing it into the abyss is by far more impactful. No Manky nominee for comday??? Yielded two meta mons for great and ultra

Mighty Pokemon for the win. Was definitely one of my favorite moments of the year from playing this game.

Just stop with this avatar update. The game is becoming unplayable with every update and people are crying about some pixels that they look at several times a year. Personally I don't even have time to look at what my avatar looks like, I just play the game.
Or at least try to, thanks to Niantic servers.

It is unfair to put Dawn wings ahead of dusk mane. They ARE similar enough to be Almost Impossible to distinguish

My favorite costumed Pokemon for 2024 was Gengar wearing the fancy Halloween Oktoberfest style hat. It’s so darn cute IMO.

No nekrozma adventure effect hate? Its utterly useless at the moment. At least with dynamax you can get hundos.

This is SUCH a fun concept for a sort of yearly review. Keep it up!

Obviously it's your own opinion, but the only ones I'd disagree with were the Major Event and the Minor event.

Go Wild was a pleasant surprise, and Mighty Pokemon were a phenomenal addition to the game, but I do think the event was overall pretty underwhelming for one of those big tentpole events. Not bad by any means, but I found the other two (especially Go Fest) to be a lot stronger.

For the Minor Events, Galarian Expedition saw cool new releases, but I wouldn't say that said releases made the event that good. Obviously the excitement factor of those shinies releasing was there, but the actual event spawns were painfully mid. And, while the Galarian Bird Shinies were awesome, there was functionally little difference for them during the event. If they had boosted their appearances even slightly, I think that would've made the event.

Roll-out likitung?

You cant convince me that the average player uses adventure effects. Anything that costs legendary candy and stardust is a hard pass even for spenders
