Breaking Benjamin is that "gateway band" (similar to what people call a "gateway drug"). They were that first step towards the world of metal for a LOT of people back in the day. Them and Linkin Park are the main two that come to mind for "gateway bands."

as a lifelong metalhead I've been saying it for years. The scream at the end of the bridge "what have I become" is the single greatest metal scream in music. Perfectly placed, perfect message, perfect distortion.

Please please please, listen to Forget It by Breaking Benjamin. It's a more soft song for them but it truly shows the vocal range that Ben has because over the entire song he slowly goes up and entire octave, if I remember correctly.

Thos amd the 'no one knows' video has made me realize something; i love the focus on the vocals (and it only makes sense) but these are both iconic songs for the drum parts and I think youd benefit from drawing attention to that ❤

Red cold River , torn in two and tourniquet are a 3 part story and probably some of Ben's best work highly recommend

Oh man I fell in love with this band when I was playing a game called Run Like Hell, it was a Space Alien game and their music was the soundtrack. It was kind of out of place but ever since I heard it I’ve loved them so much. I wish they’d tour Australia because I’d love to see them live.
