I've been binge watching your coaching videos and I've been hooked ever since. I'm currently living the vanlife for almost 3 years now and so I haven't Sim-Race since then but when I get back, the first thing that I will do is sign up for at least two lessons for iRacing and ACC to see if the way I approach things are correct with the two different physics engine.
ОтветитьMu thoughts before: he is working with throttle wavy. It’s much better when you push pedals in one move. But idk how much time it’s losing, I’ve just started couple weeks ago too! 😄
ОтветитьI think he needs more rotation
Ответитьlove this
ОтветитьThis guy will be a great driver, coached by Suellio, no bad habits at the start
ОтветитьMan you are a great teacher, i went to buy your course immediately, but then saw the price 👀 uuuuuuu i need to save up some more, its that or a steering wheel!
Ответитьwhat a boring track
Ответитьgame?
ОтветитьSuellio what car should I get after Miata’s. First car to buy that’s next level faster. I’m guessing gt4. Which car should I get
ОтветитьWait im not understanding he just started and is racing B class?
ОтветитьInitial: The braking seems very decent to me, but the main issue I see is the throttle. He seems to be a bit erratic with it, going on and off several times with the corner, and a smoother application might help improve the balance a bit more. There was also a bit of oversteer, but that was caught so not a huge issue
Ответитьas an 'experienced' simracer, fast, but with lots of bad habbits: this is gold. Suellio is great.
ОтветитьThis guy is a great salesman.
ОтветитьIt's hardly a "fairytale" if they are owned by one of the richest people in the world with a network of clubs
ОтветитьLeft foot braking, vr, and get gloves haha
ОтветитьMind blown 🤯
ОтветитьJust learned something new in under 3 mins 😮 I’ll get some time with you wen i have some time to race again
ОтветитьBro sounds Dutch
ОтветитьFantastic video, so well explained, especially with the Ferrari logo.
ОтветитьMano, que conteúdo top!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
ОтветитьLooks like the whole package is a bit loose. Improving everything will directly help bringing it together.
ОтветитьNow on the first corner you discussed. Wouldn't it be better to break later rotate sharper then potentially accelerate sooner? So almost using the V shape instead of U shape turn
Ответитьnah thats really good driving im definitly not that good and ive been sim racing for like 6 months
Ответитьthis pretty much sums up those AHA moments i've also gotten throughout the checklist. decided to start it a bit early before the end of my current league thinking i'd just binge thru it, then after my league really get down and dirty with it. but i've noticed that i'm subconsciously implementing concepts into my practice time, looking for mrp's, looking after the tires better, etc. i was in the horrible habit to drop the brakes completely once the car slowed down enough and just coasted about 25% of the corner in every corner... only 1 more race this weekend, 2hrs of nurbs, and then next week i get to install my first ever DD wheelbase, this will also mark the point in time where i fully dive into simracing.
ОтветитьThank you so much for these vids. These little nuggets of info have helped me so much in my own racing.
ОтветитьGreat Vid Suellio ! these "real life cases" really supports and cements the content in the course
ОтветитьAccelerate too strings initialy and brake too hard too late
ОтветитьLove it Suellio, great video.
ОтветитьBravissimo, complimenti !
Ответитьi would love to pay for a lesson but man these videos have taught me soooo much i really appreciate what you do for the community
ОтветитьGreat teaching here my guy
ОтветитьSuelião da massa! Muito bom
Ответитьgood student,prepeared,listening,present!
ОтветитьMy question is, do your techniques work on oval tracks. Everything from 1/4 mile to 1 1/2 mile tracks. As much as I like the occasional road course, I prefer to turn left all day. Lol
Ответитьfirst i noticed was he dont point the car and loss so much time waiting to accelerate
ОтветитьThe concepts aren’t even that difficult but he is an extremely good teacher.
ОтветитьTry that on a controller
ОтветитьI have a question. I currently only play ACC and I am not into iRacing yet. I am also very much a beginner and find these tips useful. My question is, are these tips universally applicable (so also applicable to ACC) or only really for iRacing?
ОтветитьEverybody: watches your videos to learn how to drive
Me: watches to learn how to teach :)
I always struggle with explaining trailing.
I think the "development points" I spotted were regarding his inputs (acceleration and braking) which ultimately results in him being off position to nail the long compound/complex corners.
He drives like a controller player.
To me it seems he is not able to correctly address the transition between breaking and accelerating and vice versa, being too aggressive with the acceleration, too early. Also this leads to a loose back while breaking and a lose front while accelerating.
Edit: wasn’t far off but your analysis has been waaaaay on depth. Loved the rotation with the Ferrari badge. Amazing. Thanks
This should be titled ACC Driver Tries iRacing
ОтветитьI wonder if you have brakes on the rear is tail braking still works?
Ответитьpre-watch full session comments:
T1 - not utilizing full track (turn in and run out)
T2 - same utilization issue + not going on the limit
T3 - not running full out on exit
T4 - missed 1st apex and overshoot outside on the exit
T5 - kinda going in the mid-track, and exit mid track.
T6-T7 - didn't utilize first full apex, could go a bit wider on the T7 exit.
T8 - missed first apex, didn't reach full out on exit
T9 - didn't prepare well for the turn, tried to fix the exit of T8 and went too right on the exit (unnaturally) so had to go back left (didn't go left enough) so missed entry apex and then tried to accelerate too fast and overshoot exit
T10 - a bit hesitant, not sure if it's the best approach to go mid track and not utilize these apexes.
T11 - was pretty decent
T12 - missed entry apex, went too slow, and then accelerate and overshoot exit a bit and had to overslow the car
T13 - went a bit too slow into long corner and had to modulate the gas multiple times in-corner, to not lose the rear
T14 - could go a bit deeper inside mid-corner, exit was good. A bit hesitant and inconsistent on the gas (probably felt he was loosing the rear).
very nice driving overall, but lot's of time left on the track prbbly.
These videos are great haha giving away all the secret beans
ОтветитьIf you watch this video 1 time😢
If you watch this video 2 times to learn more
😊
If you watch this video 58 times to know the knowledge of the universe
😎
Broo never expected to see the red evil eye kabbalah bracelet on you.....be careful, man. Dangerous stuff
ОтветитьAny thoughts on uploading some upper level coaching sessions with pro drivers or guys that are very high in irating. Whilst I know that I am not too good for any bit of knowledge. As a player in the top 2%, some of these videos can feel redundant. Thanks!
ОтветитьI now understand how lines through hairpins work and how the apex is not always the mrp
Ответить
