I never realised how profound this was when i used to listen to it when i was younger. My dad has his issues but i would not call him a broken man, he has certainly been a positive force in my life, but nonetheless this song made me cry because i know how many men struggle 😢

I think this song is about a troubled person who seeks help from a priest and is then r*ped by said priest. Then the song just leaves you with that scene, broken men born of broken men. A cycle repeating and someone stuck in that cycle. How bleak and accurate of the trials of our world. At times we are tested more than we can ever imagine. I pray, and cry for people dealing with things like this. Our world can be sick and this song leaves us in the pits of that sickness, but there is true help out there for those who have the ears to hear, the eyes to see, and the heart to accept the truth.

My dad died in March 2001 when I was 14. Had to look up to my older brother after that as a brother and a strong role model. We had to get jobs to support us all but all in all a great childhood I wouldn't trade for anything. Love you both Dad & Mom...RIP IN HEAVEN! Sometimes I want to join them early but I'm trying to rough it out. I've got to have stability in my life first before I can even think of a family. RATM RULES YOOOOO!!!
