Dr Mindy I did some research on your first stress release and I searched in capsules but they have 8000 mg 1600 mg right down to 300 mg what would be the best for me I’m female 5ft 1 and I’m a healthy body but my brother stresses a lot so let me know please 🙏 to start off for me and my brother !

Kava root is forbidden in the Netherlands and the European Union since 2002 seems due to toxicity and danger to your health.

Dr. Mindy, I truly love your channel and thank you SOOOOO VERY MUCH for this video. I had a big scare over the last two weeks since Thanksgiving in that I felt EXACTLY what you described about being in a chronic stress state. I'm in a new job role and deaI with a lot on a daily basis. I felt like my body was just giving out and I just wanted to sleep all the time. What you explained about it, described my symptoms to a "T". I am definitely going to start walking when I start feeling stressed, and, if the weather is bad (I'm in Ohio), I'll walk around my apartment, lol. My question is . . . can we take all three of these supplements daily/together?

Dear Dr. Mendy, I am Bikesh from Nepal. I have been a follower of yours since listening to your podcast, "The Diary of a CEO." My wife has recently been diagnosed with very low cortisol levels; her medication has only brought them to a range of 1-2. She experiences significant stress due to working two jobs and maintaining a busy schedule. She has also gained over 10 kilograms in under a year. Unfortunately, we haven't found much assistance from doctors here in Nepal. This has been ongoing for 7-8 months with no improvement. We would be very grateful for any guidance you could offer.

Thank you Dr. Mindy for more brilliant suggestiona, Cortisol Queen here. This is likely my favourite video from you, and so helpful!. I am seriously considering skipping meals, and instead rewarding myself with an orchid or two for complying. I used to love having a small collection of orchids, and learned that they don't like the gas bananas give off, and how relaxing it is to draw or paint orchids. Orchids require a specific environment, causing me to also pay attention to mine. I discovered that surrounding myself with beauty makes me calm and happy. Need to make friends with my bike again, my PT rides her stationary bike 45mins first thing every morning. At 57 she sports a perfect figure, that is well toned, inspiring. I will play the piano, walk my doggies more, and focus on activities that bring happiness. Three more supplements to add to my day, can't believe it has taken seven plus decades for me to learn about the combination of Aswagandha, Kawa Rood and Genseng. Oh well, every day, brings a new and exciting experience, discovery. Amazing! You are the best Dr. Mindy! Top Drawer!

Dr Mindy after 7 mos post menopause I spotted. Then exactly 4 weeks later to the day (today)bloating cramps then what seems to be beginning of a period.... Yesterday I said to myself I feel like I'm going to start and then this morning at 2:00 a.m. there she was....

Hi I feel like I take lots of supplements, b12, vit D , omegas …. I also fast everyday. If I get some ginseng do I need to take this religiously every day with the other supplements? I get stuck on how to take them and when and then with how I fast , if I do a long fast, i miss these supplements and then wonder if I’m getting the full benefits? Thank you ❤

This is one of the most informative videos I’ve seen of hers. As somebody who has diabetes, heart disease, PCOS, ADHD, and am post-menopausal and carry most of my weight in my belly, Cortisol is a big deal for me. I was actually told to never fast because I have both PCOS and Diabetes, which would get worse when under the stress of fasting. I wish I could fast though, because I have no problem fasting 24 - 36 hours at a time.

Wait, I had read somewhere that kava can Can hurt your liver. My son in law n friends drink a lot of kava n play guitar n sing for hours into the night. But as most things, too much of a good thing isn’t a good thing.

In a recent video, Dr. Mindy, I believe you mentioned that one should stop eating by 3pm, because melatonin rises during darkness. And, I was not aware there is a connection between melatonin and increased blood glucose. Hope I got that right. Anyway, would that also mean it would be better not to take melatonin to improve sleep? Or, does that not matter? I should mention that I am mid-seventies and tend to wake up between two and four a.m.. most nights. And, I suspect pre-diabetic which I obviously want to correct. Please would you be kind enough to clarify. I eat Ezekial bread and am doing my best to make other diet improvements. I also have a stationary bike I can use. Cycling always helps me sleep better. Thank you.

Having allot of issues with hormones/hrt/supplements causing severe insomnia. Started to get on track and tried Kava today and i can not sleep at all 🤦‍♀️ 0 sleep again! Im so sensitive i cant take ir touch anything!! Gotta let people know side effects and risks dont just promote the positives! I did research too and it said it would help anxiety and insomnia. Done the complete opposite for me 🤦‍♀️

DR MINDY - You're Awesome !!! No words to describe the gratitude and appreciation for the health eduaction you bring us in such a clear understandable way, with all the woonderful explanations.... I don't find Ashwaganda powder smell or taste bad as you say. I mix it with some other powders as Maca and Cinnamon, ground Flax seeds , and maqui barrie powder, some freshly squized lemon juice - I find it to be a real treat ....One can play and alternate the ingredients....For everybody's health - Cheers !

My neighbours get "high" on Kava nightly ... they are loud abnoxious and rude until 4 am ... so yes - kava gets you "high" obviously depending on dosage how high you will get ... just an addendum to your kava info

I came here because I wanted to leave a comment and I hope you see it Dr. Mindy:
Your videos have quite literally changed my life. I came here out of curiosity, wondering what intermittent fasting could actually do for me. Not only has it helped me, but it has healed things that I didn't realize were so wrong. I saw immediate improvements in my skin because I was dealing with painful hormonal acne after my son was born. Literally, overnight, the inflammation in my skin became flat. That was my main reason for starting to fast, but then I saw improvements in my sleep. I didn't have racing thoughts anymore at night and the insomnia was gone. Oddly enough, I noticed I was a lot less sensitive to lactose/dairy like I used to be. I can now have dairy - on occasion - without the cramps and other symptoms of lactose intolerance. However, the most incredible of all I think, was my immunity increase. My son got sick with the 24-hr flu, so I instantly started fasting. I fasted for about 36 hours roughly, and in that time, my husband and both his parents got sick and recovered. I mean sick sick. Puking, diarrhea, fever, chills... Not at all to brag but only to note, I never got sick. I slept on the bathroom floor with my son while he was sick so I could take care of him. I slept in the same bed as my husband and took care of him. I was around my in-laws when they were sick. Yet I never caught what they had. When I say that strategic fasting has changed the game for me, I can't make this stuff up. It's truly amazing what the body can do when you let it do its natural thing.
