ОтветитьRop esta bien hecha esa escena
ОтветитьCan’t see anything in the RoP version
ОтветитьRIP ROP
ОтветитьShe floats, a well know elvish skill!
Ответитьpathetic
ОтветитьI like how in the original when Legolas's arrows hit the troll you can almost feel the thickness of its hide, as well that each step shook the earth. With the ice troll, the design is good it feels a little too light and maybe a little too quick (granted it is a bit smaller), though those elves shouldn't have stood around like dinguses while the troll bodied them!
ОтветитьSuch a cruel comparison...
In LoTR you have a competent team working together and in RoP you have a Karen and some troll bait.
One is scary while the other is a turd.. 😂🤣😂
ОтветитьWarrior Galadriel OP!!! LVL1000 FULL ITEMS HAHA, HILARIOUS
ОтветитьI absolutely loved Despot of Antrim's comment on this scene, one of the things that stuck with me cause it's so clever is that the troll in LOTR has chains, he is a slave, a tortured creature, he's a killing machine but he has no other choice, his death is a relief to him, he is finally free of this living hell. Whether the troll in ROP is just living his life in his HOME??? they just barge in unannounced and decide to attack him, restlessly kill him, the poor thing was just defending his home and his self from this psychopath.
My god there are so many things i hate about this scene
No comparison
ОтветитьWe are comparing the single film with most Oscars to the biggest flop.
The troll scene is a great example in Lord of the rings. Book and film The MC struggle to defeat the troll is a hard nut to crack also kill many orcs (14 in the book if I remember well) the fight is chaotic. And, gives the sensation of danger for the MCs something the Hobbit missed in most action scenes.
In ROP elves except Galadriel are useless pansies that don't even try to dodge nor fight. Galadriel comes she finishes the troll almost alone cleanly as it was a routine effortless job.
The LOTR is the best fight. The orcs plus the troll was a much harder fight and the group worked as a team to defeat it. ROP The elves look like idiots standing there why the troll toss's them around, just before flying Galadriel shows up. Sorry, but ROP sucks. The realism of Peter Jackson's creation beats Amazon's feeble attempt at CGI and acting. That's the difference in someone who actually cares about the story and someone who don't. Someone who cares about the fans and someone who don't. A great man, once said. " Everything woke turns to SH%#. " He is right.
ОтветитьIn a fantasy world with magic and mythical creatures, how much realism one wants to add is a sliding scale. But running on a sword should be ruled out completely.
ОтветитьThe emotion of the scene is also so different. In FotR, the troll is a slave in chains and has been living a tortured existence, it only knows to kill but it is not its fault. The Fellowship have to kill it, as its the troll or them, but they are sad when it dies, and the film makers show that, both in the characters expressions, and by giving the troll some dignity and humanity in its final moment. In RoP, the troll is minding its own business when its home is attacked, and so it defends itself. Yet fake Galadriel is shown to be a badass who can kill it easily, but she shows no sorrow or remorse. There is no sadness for the loss of life, and no guilt in her, she's just like 'I'm cool I killed a troll', despite the fact that here fake Galadriel's crew have wronged the troll, but in FotR, it was the orcs in Moria who had wronged the troll by enslaving it.
ОтветитьNo comparison ring of power is complete dogshite and spits on tolkiens legacy and world
ОтветитьLuego dicen que las comparaciones son odiosas.... normal...
ОтветитьI'll be that "one guy".
RoP troll wins because it didn't have that stupid horse shriek like the one in "Fellowship...". Both are CGI up the ass so neither wins there, but the RoP (even though I don't watch the show) wins due to having an original sound that's not easily recognizable.
Also the actual footage is so much darker. Like in LotR it's still a physically dark scene, but at least I can tell what's happening. It's one of the talking points as to what makes the Helm's Deep battle good - you're aware it's a nighttime battle, but everything is still visible.
ОтветитьAmazon 🤡
ОтветитьI felt bad for the troll in rop
ОтветитьWhat would have been impressive:
Galadriel showing why she's in her position by displaying a masterful level of tactical awareness, guiding multiple soldiers to victory through clever use of the environment and/or set traps which also demonstrate the actual skill and discipline of Elvish soldiers.
What we got:
PREMIUM PLAYER HAS ENTERED THE CHANNEL
In rop you've got galadriel pulling legolas-style stunts and killing the troll all by herself while even legolas himself couldn't. I'm sorry what
ОтветитьI love ☠️ trolls The Lord of the rings:
And The hobit , batle 5 armys
wow didn't that strong courageous woman make killing that cave troll look easy.
ОтветитьIn the Woke Universe nothing male is safe!!
ОтветитьI can’t believe that I’ve found people on this comment section saying things such as: “Oh you didn’t like Galadriel’s impressive feat of singlehandedly killing a troll, but you don’t mind it when Legolas does it!” Or “You find Galadriel running on a sword ridiculous, but what about Legolas’s shield surfing huh?”
First of all, Legolas didn’t kill the troll all by himself. That was a feat that required the effort from all the members of the fellowship. A fellowship that consisted of just ONE elf, two men, a dwarf, a wizard, and four Hobbits. Galadriel on the other hand, was accompanied by an ENTIRE SQUAD of elves and yet, none of them stood a chance against the troll and Galadriel had to defeat the troll all by herself. Like seriously?! Elves are practically super human and yet, in ROP all elves turned out to be completely useless with the exception of Galadriel. Hmmm.... I’m sensing some major Mary Sue vibes in here. Then there’s Galadriel’s sword running vs. Legolas’s shield surfing, that feat that Legolas pulled with the shield, although impressive, isn’t that otherworldly, we’ve seen real/normal people pull that kind of stunt with skateboards. Now tell me, when have you ever seen someone pull something as ludicrous as running on a f***ing sword?! So yes, Galadriel’s sword running was ridiculous while Legolas’s shield surfing was epic. Why? Because Legolas’s stunt isn’t something that’s well-beyond the realm of reason, but Galadriel’s was which turned ROP’s lame attempt at creating something epic into a joke. And to top it off, Legolas vs. Troll and Legolas’s shield surfing happened in two different scenes from two separate films, while Galadriel vs. Troll and her sword running happened in the EXACT SAME scene. Honestly, ROP just used this scene as an excuse to have Galadriel showing off.
In regards to the the Rings of Power fight…
I have read the main books(Hobbit, Lotr, Silmarillion and even the Appendices), watched both trilogies so many times over the past decade that I can’t count with my fingers anymore.
I’ve spend countless hours on Lotr online, the two Lego games, War in the North, Lotr Conquest, and most of all both Shadow of Mordor and (especially) Shadow of War, including all the dlc that came with them. I have slain many ologs, trolls, and graugs as Talion, Nazgûl Talion, Bright Lord Celebrimbor, Eltariel, Baranor, the Black Hand, Lithariel, Barathor(my Lotr online character), the war in the north trio, and many many more.
So I can say with full confidence that a creature like this snow troll does NOT go down that easily. More the OTHER Way around if anything.
LOL of the rings
ОтветитьLOTR: great story telling
RoP: more woke bullshit!
amazon power is shittt WOKE
ОтветитьThe only thing now ridiculous than the sword ramp is how much air she gets off it. If you can jump that high, you didn't need a ramp. It's like providing a mini trampoline on the court for Michael Jordan so he can dunk.
ОтветитьI just have a hard time comprehending the actress (whoever) thought "yeah, I can play the heroine being a pompous self-absorbed cunt, that'll elevate both the series and my CV".
ОтветитьTeam work vs a woman acting like a nman
ОтветитьYeah but surely you’d expect the creatures to have looked different hundreds of years before The Lord of The Rings
ОтветитьThe way she handles the sword is like a girl learning kung fu at a McDojo. Slow, awkward, weak looking, but claps from the equally weak classmates
ОтветитьSo 4 dudes and 5 other dudes under the height of 5ft can not only survive the troll but a band of orcs at the same time.
But like 10 high elves (all males of course)of Noldorin decent cant even land a blow and all die in 10 seconds, except Galadriel can defeat it with ease in abiut 4 swings of her mighty girl boss sword. 😅
Do people understand what the noldor are? How they differ from the Avari elves(dark elves that have not seen the light of the two trees). Galadriel isnt a witch or something... shes an ancient noldorin elf along with many other elves... her wisdom, magic and foresight is what sets her apart from other elves. Not her girl boss plot armor.. 😅
