Dear WatchMojo I love the fact boy and the heron beat your choice for best film. Hayao Miyazaki made a true masterpiece spider verse is good but you're talking out your ass if you think it's better than boy and the heron.

While Poor Things and The Boy & the Heron should've been in the Top 10, Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3, Mission: Impossible-Dead Reckoning and The Zone of Interest should be in the honourable mentions.

Oppenheimer gives Cillian Murphy his Oscar on 2024 ❤

Unpopular opinion I found Oppenheimer boring and Cillian Murphy's voice was like nails on chalkboard. I really like Cillian in everything else and i know a movie about opp is not supposed to he an action flick but it just dragged on and the directing was annoying. It just came off as pretentious and everyone jumped the bandwagon while most people probably could barely stay awake. I like slow long movies like the assasination of jesse james but they must be well done.

2023 movies I have watched: Godzilla Minus One, Oppenheimer, Barbie, The Super Mario Bros Movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Five Nights at Freddy’s, John Wick Chapter 4, Scream VI, TMNT Mutant Mayhem, Blue Beetle, Meg 2: The Trench, Blue Beetle, Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, M3GAN, Cocaine Bear, Evil Dead Rise, Transformers Rise of the Beasts, Wonka, and Strays

Personally, my favourite movie of 2023 was and still is Dungeons and Dragons honour amounst thieves. which, in my opinion, was underrated and should have had a better advertising campaign.
I loved the movie watching it many times over.
