That’s a perfect tally-ho right there.

There is something about a hounds voice that mesmerizes me. My 1st basset (Lucy, tri color, very protective) voice made my soul stir - comforting and everything was right in our world. My 2nd basset (Poet, field basset English Foote Basset, Lemon, no heart to hunt, made me laugh everyday, good with kids) had such a calming voice. I was asked I wanted him and if so, I would have to keep him away from the pack and neuter him , which I did. Poet was so very calming and I found his voice very soothing. Used to go basseting - walking with the hounds.
