Core competencies and latent errors are legit phrases used at my work. Watching this made me remember how bizarre some of the verbiage is.

The goal of HR is not only identify weakness, but to elevate performance. To be smug about ruining somone's confidence on a work even she doesn't even comprehend... HR is on the wrong here.

This HR lady is a psychopath. I think she believes the bravo Sierra coming out of her mouth.

When any performace review gives a wrong indication, the sh(it) is going to hit the fan.

HR should be reactive not proactive unless there is a systemic issue.

Hr is not there to protect you. Theyre there to stop the business from getting sued

I know this show is satire, but i can never watch it without my blood coming close to a boil.

This is a good boss. My boss had a meeting where she reemed us for our “unprofessionalism” and said she would have to get HR involved if it continued.
I raised my hand and asked “didnt you open and show us a gay male porno magazine?”

I got told “thats different.”

But we havent had anymore meetings about what is professional and what is not 🤣

People need to realise that HR is there to protect the companies interests no matter how much they try to convince you otherwise.
Record every meeting and try to communicate via email so you have a paper trail when dealing with these narcissistic people.
I was recently subjected to a long campaign of harassment at work because I stood up to toxic management and I ended up with a huge pay out because they were so blatant about it and assumed that because I have disabilities I am an easy target.

😂 ya i left knowing how every component of the business works and how to do it better... now I'm learning about investment opportunities and financial implications... I doubt there will be a buisness i won't be able to run 😂

Frustrating that HR is supposed to keep management running smoothly and somehow always manage to do the opposite.

Got a good laugh. I used to work in a corporate setting that was run by a strong HR presence. I've never seen them do one good thing for one employee. What they usually ended up doing was knifing people in the back.
I know they're supposed to ultimately protect the company, not help the employees but they would always always drag morale down the drain.
They go to far, and most are hungry for power moving themselves ahead of even the accountants regarding which department thinks they're the most important in the company.

Now I see why Michael hate Toby so much in The Office
