I'm a singer, an intermittent tobacco smoker and/or nicotine gum or lozenge, throat numbing sprays and Sucrets's lozenges with tons of sugar, iced coffee all day, adhd medicine since 6th grade, bendryl due to allergy all year long and non consistent treatment using tongue scraping and gargling due to scheduling as sometimes a session will last up to 24 hours and now I have a kidney condition due to being born with a genetic heart condition AND stress (not from work but, family dysfunction) I also use inhalers both albuterol and one with a mix of albuterol and steroids. I've gotten Decadron shots into my vocal chords just like the singer I used to sing with on her albums as well as live shows as part of both bands she is famous for. She is now mid 70s and on tour non-stop and not recording new music lately due to rivalry with guitar player and his raging jealousy since the 1970s and the loss of the keyboard player/singer/3 part harmony. I can be heard on her late 80s records and early 90s live tours and a solo album she did in 2011 at her homes for 8 days. Everybody loves you, cheaper than free, real tears etc...She also has been hospitalized due to vocal swelling and pneumonia. My remedy is unconventional but, it works for me. Whiting mouth wash that has baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to brush and gargle with, sugar free yogurt drinks vanilla or peach only no real fruit, iced tea and real lemon squeeze with hibiscus tea and trader joe's honey. When my throat and mouth are dry I keep glycerin swabs and in a pinch I use thick k-y jelly made from the same ingredients. (yes it sounds dirty but, my doctors pointed out the same ingredients) Cold iced water always handy, I also have a lidocaine/Neosporin yellow tube of antibiotic mix with q-tips to use...the lidocaine is a prescription of 4-5 mgs ointment not cream but, you can use canker liquid in a pinch sold in drug stores. When I get the mouth sores usually on the side of my tongue I brush, floss, tongue scrape and use the white mouthwash, i make a film with the lidocaine and yellow ointment antibiotic and run it along sores lightly and with a totally clean mouth keeping the ointment film I take a q-tip and fill each little hole with denture cream, that thick pink squirt type and if working I take care to clean mouth often by keeping the mouthwash mentioned in a small spray bottle, cleaning out mouth as mentioned, covering sores with the film and denture cream and swabbing all day with glycerin. If staying at a hotel and at home I use the pressure shower (with the hose if available) set on massage and it sprays strong 2 or 3 powerful water streams that pulse...I just open my mouth and let it hit the back of my throat and/or a water pick that's smaller and effective but, doesn't work as well as a shower pulse sprayer. I don't smoke and I use only 4mg nicotine gum but, remember to take it out after a 1/2 hour if you forget it will give you the worst anxiety. Water, water, water or the hibiscus tea I make in a saucepan simmering and I use club soda as the water which has natural salt making as a concentrate to travel with and refrigerate. hibiscus is a red tea that's made from a flower and leaf and it's naturally sweet and sugar free.

Hi, middle of January I've been dealing with 3 years ifections. Long story short I have very weak immune disorder lupus and week heart, fibromyalgia. Do to that I have to take a methotrexate for years but my rheumatologist Dr FILLED from refilled folic acid for 5 months so without folic acid and I end up with severe mouth Infection that bleeding inside out my mouth (inside of my mouth shredded). Almost 3 years ago, first week off infection I lost 28lb and couldn't eat or drink over month. I am in Lawton Oklahoma and visit so many specialists, infection diseases and ENT, many dermatologist, OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center and more. I have been going Texas. I haven't been dealing with the pain all my life. But this is different pain, it was so severe I was attempting suicide many times. I feel like doctors they're just a brush me up and they have no clue about candidiasis. I am 49 years all my boys all grown and I have 14 years old daughter, she afraid that give me a hug, I feel like someone ripping my heart out, that is most of painful I can't handle. I'm 62 and my mouth and tongue are sore and those pesky milky white c. Albicans are in the base of my tongue and lips! It is very hard to eat or drink but thank God somehow I get through the day. Lukewarm turmeric solution rinse helps and so does Salt solution. I'm now taking this relatively expensive drug called Fluconazole 150 mg capsule once daily and on my 2nd day today.
