if I can see this correctly you mounted the LED that is High up facing outwards and not downwards do I see that correctly? was this just your choice or any reason you did not face them downward. Just curious doing similar project.

Hi Chris, from what I can see in this video you seem to have gotten it completely spotless. I cant get a hold of muzata profiles, anything else that creates the same spotless effect?

Chris, great video and im just getting into all this on my own. I bought some M1s and have a need to extend the cord from the controller to the 4-pin connection. Can i just cut the wire in the middle and soldered with 18awg silicone to extend the distance? Any previous vids or info would be helpful. I searched on your videos but couldn't find anything.

how easy do you think it would be to use these with the custom rgb desk you made? could I copy your set up, but instead of wiring everything, just use these? and If I use many goove strips, can I control them all together? or do i have to do it separately, how do I connect them all? Does that make sence?

can these strips be cut between any of the leds or is it only at the visible parts wher the solder points are wich seem to be every 50cm?

Hey Chris, thank you for the fantastic video. I purchased a couple of 5m Govee M1 strips and was wondering what you now think the best diffuser channel is for these light strips please? If you could let me know with a link where to buy them from I would appreciate it very much. Also if I need to extend my 5m to let's say 8 meter do I just cut a 3m strip off another 5m and solder it on to my 5m powered M1 strip? Thanks for your help, keep up the great videos👍

I wish the female connector from the controller would fit in this diffuser track though. I’m at the start of a new run and am struggling to figure out how to connect the 4 pins at the strip start point to the female controller, all while using the diffuser and included end clips.

What if I need 50 ft and want to run them all off one controller? On Amazon the longest kit is 16 ft

I want to use the LED strip in 5 different slats I am building on slatted wall. Can I cut these strips where a scissors mark is and join them using a wire? After how much distance there is a scissors mark to cut?

These diffuser channels with the govee M1 vs the govee light with corners complete kit?

I like the fact the muzata comes in 1 meter and 2 meter lengths so less joints and a seemless look but the convenience of just ordering the govee seems hard to pass.

Hey mate, I’m doing this exact setup right now but need to know what type of mitre saw and what specific circular saw blade should I be using for clean cuts on the channels?

I have learned so much from watching your videos, and they are inspiring! I do have a question (I think it's been asked by others but not responded to, so fingers crossed you will read and respond). I have a room where I want to add the M1 all the way around it. The room measures 11.16x10.18, meaning I need approximately 42.68 feet of LEDs. If the M1 can be expanded to 32.8ft by using 2 of the 16.4 strands, what would be your suggestion for the remaining 9.88 inches? The extensions at 3.28ft, I would need 3. Will that be too much for just one power supply? I've seen conflicting information and wanted a pro's opinion!
