ОтветитьHilarious stuff! What happened to the very sexy looking Judi Spiers?
ОтветитьStanley Unwin was brilliant. But did dyou notice the high standard of interviewer the BBC used in those days? Pefect English and well mnnered and well dressed. I wish The BBC (at least) would bring back those standards. And now we are to lose Paxman.... Deep folly.
ОтветитьStanley Unwin Boomerangs The Kinks!
What more do you need?
Loved Stanley, if you just took the time to listen to him he was so funny, Unwineeze rules as worlds funnyiest language, and the world needs a new STANLEY UNWIN. RIP STANLEY sadly missed but never forgotten. Your welcome.

ОтветитьAnd Juding is goodling wonderlode in this sending too. Oh for some kissy cuddlode... but anno dominear, anno dominear.
Ответитьpity they didn't have Stanley Unwinded explaining the boomerang
ОтветитьDeep Joy and Happers to you all!
ОтветитьIt seems as though Michael Jackson has drawn his inspiration from this guy.
He certainly sings a load of gibberish.
Sadly missed
ОтветитьPity he isn't around to bring some clarity to Brexit
ОтветитьWent to a school just down the road from me - Headlands in Penarth
ОтветитьHE SHOULD BE THE SPEAKER FOR HOUSE OF COMMONS OR SHOULD HAVE DEEP FOLLEY
ОтветитьA dwindly bank account - I have one of those. And I like to listen to Louis Armstrode. Professor Stanley U. was great fun. Deep joy.
ОтветитьBoris Johnson’s new spokesperson.
ОтветитьUsed to love listening to him as a kid, deep joy RIP Stanley.

ОтветитьNowadays people would take this a sign of a stroke. Sadly missed Mr Unwin. Restibold in deep peacage
ОтветитьDoes anyone remember Stanley in "The Secret Service"?
ОтветитьBoomerangs are only used as a hunting weapon
ОтветитьStanley Unwin was absolutely unique. In the clip he had an instant and relevant response to every question, showing what a sharp mind he had.
ОтветитьGenius
ОтветитьWould be all delight and deep joy to know he is upload to the interfold all eternity ever after
ОтветитьDeep joy Stanley. True legend.
ОтветитьDeep joy.
ОтветитьLost youth: where are you now, children ? Come back to us, please, and say.
ОтветитьThis is pretty much how all politicians sound to me nowadays
ОтветитьThis is pretty much how all politicians sound to me nowadays
ОтветитьI can't remember her name but she's the best presenter I've heard so far deal with Stanley Unwin. As Eric Morecambe said to Andre Previn before that famous sketch, everyone involved has to play it straight. That's what makes the whole thing funny. Too many presenters either tried to be funny themselves, or made it obvious they didn't understand a word the Prof was saying as if he was just talking gibberish, which was a bit of a fizzbang partypoop. Whereas, the funny thing to do is to go along with it leaving the audience to just enjoy the overall silliness. Brava! Whoever she was.
ОтветитьIf he'd have only been our PM life would have been so good
ОтветитьPebble-o-milley at the one, Judi Spiers in glory-oh black and whiting, no clue on the colour-ness disappearey, but neverly mind.
ОтветитьComedy gold a true one off.
ОтветитьI really do believe most people don’t realise how talented he was to say all that he spoke was without a script,
ОтветитьReminds me of Biden…
ОтветитьThank You for the video. R.I.P. Stanley. Thank You. I could never get enough of your TV and radio appearances. The video clip of Stanley appears to have either no colour, or very little. Do you know if the studio was the venerable Pebble Mill (R.I.P.), which was built for colour working, or another regional centre, not yet colourised? Sorry to be an anorak, I’m trying to date the clip. Thanks.
ОтветитьWhat a gem
ОтветитьHe makes as much sense as as the average politician but is infinitely more entertaining,
ОтветитьBrilliant ❤️❣️❤️🇬🇧🌍👍🙏🙏💯
ОтветитьClassic 😀
ОтветитьWell indeady, buy the sack of deepfolly. He speak with the heady, but more comes out with the throaty.
Deep joy, that somebode should talkus through our mosty set abouty loads side, and makes usey eyeloads .
Professor Unwin was a prophet in the mode of Orwell, Huxley and CG Jung. He saw the inevitable repurposing of language and the maze of permutations contained therein to camouflage and deny reality..........as those avid converts to Marxism are compelled to engage in.
Tragically comic or comically tragic.
You choose.
A brilliant performer.
ОтветитьStill talking more sense than a lot of politicians today, although l am a bit worried as it makes perfect sense to me.
