Wonder how they would sound on a 28inch semi auto? Thank you for the work you do!
ОтветитьAnton Chigurh knows they're worth it lol
ОтветитьOutstanding please add the Rex Silentium Seg 12 and Xcaliber cans to the testing. Our JK cans came loaded with Vaseline lasted 30 rounds in keltec ksgs(using mini shells). As always love the content!
ОтветитьSomeone needs to do a modern take on the No Country for Old Men shotgun. Like a Beretta 1301 SBS with one of the suppressors in this video
Ответитьi have a Genesis 12 10.5" with the JK Breacher suppressor the JK you have to put vaseline on each baffle to help reduce the sound. it will smoke as the vaseline burns away. all of the shotgun suppressors only reduce the sound into the mid to high 140db which you still need ear protection.
Ответитьhow many fps were those rounds?
ОтветитьSpend the money to get a dB meter. Don't sacrifice your hearing for street cred.
ОтветитьHave a Salvo on a KSG, was actually my first NFA purchase.
Definitely has a couple cons. Weight (KSG has a light, the can, iron sights, metal replacement rail on the pump, and a Magpul MVG, whole system weighs in at over 12 pounds loaded), and ammo sensitivity (need to use wadded shot shells). That said, if you can find or make subsonic shells it is an absolute giggle machine. Winchester AA super handicap, you basically hear the hammer drop and feel a little recoil.
Please stop exposing your hearing to these shots. It never comes back, man.
ОтветитьGreat video as always Rob. This may be the best shotgun silencer video comparison ever produced. JK sounded good!
By the way, JK just uses common Vaseline in their silencers. Definitely helps performance especially on their CCX9.
Great review Rob! I've never been too interested in shotgun cans, but I have always liked the Salvo. I probably won't get shotgun can until I have every other can I want, but unless there is one that is significantly better, I'd be going with the Salvo.
I wonder how a 20ga would sound with the 12ga full-length Salvo?
Thanks for ringing your bell so the rest of us don't have to
ОтветитьJust in time for the YHM 12G can to be released. And side note; did Remington have that shotgun built in Turkey? lol.
ОтветитьI would like to see one designed with the volume to the sides, so you could put a long mag tube under it and have them extend the same length.
ОтветитьIs the salvo using the same chamber design as SiCo’s Osprey?
ОтветитьI hate my salvo. Fired 3 rounds and bought the JK 195. Night and day better than the salvo IMHO
ОтветитьI am waiting to see if Huxwrx brings their Ventum 12k that they made for the genesis gen-12 to other shotguns. I want one for my LTT 1301.
ОтветитьJK armament cans are trash
ОтветитьHave the JK in full configuration. It's a joke and gimmick. "Full" choke cap is garbage, does not keep the pattern tighter at all.
ОтветитьJust pack it with jelly and roll on I don’t know I would call that cheating I think it’s an advantage
ОтветитьI LOVE my SEG12!!
ОтветитьCan you do some RADICAL DEFENSE CS5,CS3,LS5 comparisons?
Ответитьdo you hunt? i feel it would be useful hunting with your bird dog to prevent hearing damage
ОтветитьAbsolutely love my Salvo in 10" on my 1301 Tactical LE with the Briley guard. Dove slaying machine and it's real handy
ОтветитьI have my 12.5 870sbs I run with a full length salvo. Without the can on it’s a flash bang dispenser.
ОтветитьDude! You really need to stop shooting without ears. We don't need to know whether or not it hurts!
ОтветитьI wonder if lower velocity with shorter barrels would have suited the short JK.
Ответитьwonder how it would go on a 28inch gun
ОтветитьDidn't the JKA fly off the host at one of the silencer events and they just left it out there because they couldn't cease all the fire?
ОтветитьYou need to call Anton Chigurh from: No country for old men. Ask to borrow his suppressor.
ОтветитьWell done.
ОтветитьI have an unused salvo 12 to sell, gonna get something else for ksg
ОтветитьOK IM DRUNK…. AFTER PLAYING THE WORD BINGO DRINKING GAME WITH THIS VIDEO…… 🤪🤪 THAT “RANG MY BELL” IS THE WINNER! 🤢🤮🤮🤮
ОтветитьI’ve often wondered if suppressors would work with a shotgun. OK, I get it that a suppressor only reduces the perceived sound — they don’t magically make your shotgun a silent shot-thrower like the movies make you believe.
I’m not a bird hunter; for me, shotguns are nearly perfect for home defense. Yet, that’s a lot of noise in a confined space — and I am very interested in anything that would reduce the noise. That the suppressor might also give the gasses a chance to cool a bit, lessening the chance of starting a fire, is a bonus. With the advent of bullpup-style shotguns, the final gun + silence package is still a manageable length.
Thanks for the info!
They are all
Loud on a 12g. Dont let anyone fool ya. Hell no it ain’t worth the money.
I thank you and your ears for doing this experimentation
Ответить2 months ago 😅😅😅
ОтветитьI heard you couldn't shoot slugs thru the salvo
ОтветитьJK armor can come wet that’s how they’re supposed to be shot
ОтветитьWhy in the hell would anybody want one of these silencers for a shotgun
Ответитьcrap I just ordered the versax 12 and now I really wish I got the sgx after watching this....
ОтветитьCopy, use grease to cheat. :3
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьSilencer Syndicate: Thank you for a very informative video about shotgun silencers. I own two pump-action 12-gauge shotguns, a Mossberg 590A1 Tactical with a 20” barrel and a Remington 870 Tactical with an 18.5” barrel. Which silencers would you (or anyone else who is reading my comment) recommend for those two shotguns? Your assistance is much appreciated. Again, thank you for your educational video.
ОтветитьIt is hard for me to tell any real difference in sound volume, not sure if that is just the camera flatting out the sound for all of it though. I think I would need my own experience to judge for myself
