Always interesting and eagerly watched content imo. That level of frost looks just right to me. As soon as I get my personal finances on a surer footing, you can expect to see a contribution to the crowd fund from me. 👍
ОтветитьReally enjoying a glass of pre dinner wine on Fridays watching your videos Simon and always have a pad at my side to jot down any ideas I can use. One thing tonight though is your tunnel entrance and I really think your pristine tunnel interior walls need dirtyinging down as they would presumably have been in place when steam ruled so would have been pretty grimy by your chosen period. Anyway thank you as always for sharing your layout with us.
ОтветитьHello, can I ask if you scratch built the tunnel portals or did you have them made? Thanks Tim
ОтветитьSimon, that has to be the best ballasted model railway I have ever seen, simply mind-boggling the amount of time and ballast that has taken, it just captures the look and feel I reckonise as BR track of the period!
ОтветитьVery interesting as always! The attention to detail is second to none! 😊
ОтветитьA coal sector 58 would be nice
Ответитьhow can you afford all this
ОтветитьThe inclusion of rusty 'Rebar' in the aged prefabricated concrete p-way hut is absolutely inspirational, typical of Simon's great eye for detail and lateral thinking as a modeller. 👍💖
ОтветитьThe Gorse bushes may have come a company called Polak.
ОтветитьAnother gem Simon. When you’re all up and running, how many operators will it take to set up and run?
ОтветитьAs always love to see your progress Simon, must make a visit soon
ОтветитьHi, I do enjoy a look around your layout. Can I ask though, what is the strange white gritty effect over everything? I really noticed it on the first raised lineside cabinets you showed. I hope you don’t mind me saying it seems to distract from the overall look in my humble opinion. Am I missing something? Quite likely with me! Please keep the videos coming.
ОтветитьWOW you’re layout is stunning ❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьModelling on an epic scale.....your vision, execution, and commitment is really impressive. Thanks for the superglue tip!
ОтветитьSome lovely stuff Simon. The cement works is starting to make sense now, in terms of its layout, it'll be an awesome feature, remarkable 👍✌️😊
ОтветитьGreat job, though I wish you had someone to help you out. The MPH signs though, shouldn't be yellow on the reverse. They were either black or grey
ОтветитьSimon, love the attention to detail in every part of the layout, brings it all together as one. Fantastic.
ОтветитьUnbelievable layout! Can I ask why is the track off centre on the rhs tunnel portal ? It doesn’t look correct is this model from real life ? Thanks
ОтветитьAnother great video again, simon. I'm really enjoying your journey on the extension build
ОтветитьHi 👋🏻 Simon loving your railway update on Heaton lodge 😊
ОтветитьSimon, thanks for the update, loving the attention to detail present all along the railway, that makes all the difference between biggest ( ! ) and beautifully done, plus having people, ( obviously missing in another case ! ) helps bring scenes to life, other than looking like a scene from 28 days later...... where there's no one about....
Ответитьyou talk about whatever you want, your passion is what compels us, or me anyway. Just amazing
ОтветитьYou have achieved amazing, gritty realism with your vision, thanks for sharing this
ОтветитьGreat trip around the clutter and debris and litter, a lot of Diesel era layouts are too tidy and neat which is probably more appropriate to the steam era, yours certainly cannot be accused of that 😊
ОтветитьAre you adding any support for the baseboards on those steel frames to prevent them sagging over time?
Ответить
