Great content, as always! Even for those of us that already know about the core topics (and most of the "side" ones), it's not only entertaining but there's every now and then a couple of new tricks or three to pick up from these videos! I was always annoyed by the different size of the shroud sometimes, had never thought of disabling it! Also interesting the use of fairings instead of cargo bays to save on mass. And I remember how long it took me to find out about, and how to configure and use, the interstage nodes of the fairing, back in the day... So again, cheers to another great tutorial video!
PS: quick question... doesn't using three small tanks mean a bit more mass than a small + a medium one?
👏
ОтветитьThis is the sort of informative and easily digested content that only a math teacher could produce. You're criminally under-subscribed.
ОтветитьI've learned to tune down the fuel in the separotrons, it is sooo satisfying to see them do just a very quick burst and then see the huge boosters slowly and elegantly clearing the vessel to the sides, whereas before when I deployed it, the boosters kept spinning and screaming and spinning and screaming as I went away lol! 🤣
ОтветитьIt's so inefficient. My eyes bleeding. I want to scream
ОтветитьGreat video. FYI, I think the LES comes with it's own decoupler.
ОтветитьGreat vid! Just complex enough with relevant info. 👍
ОтветитьThank you for the entertainment and the information.
ОтветитьWhat I hate about this vid is having to wait a week or more to see the MISSION!!!! DAMN!!!! Thanks for the vid though, I'd never thought of building a rocket like that. One day I may make a vid where I show one of my designs and drop it here for you to laugh at.
ОтветитьWonderful as always. I have been playing a while but I think I always learn something.
ОтветитьThanks for the tip on hiding the truss structure at the chute! Been wondering!! Loving this playthrough, helps mega on console👌🏻
ОтветитьThe Delta-V map you use in the video says that the burn to establish an orbit around the mun is 280, yet the map in the link says 310. Was there an update that changed the correct values? Which one is correct?
ОтветитьOne minor point that I think should be made is there's really no use for an escape system in the base game. Assuming the player can reach orbit reliably, escape systems only become necessary if you have a malfuntion mod in your game, like Kerbalism.
ОтветитьHello
ОтветитьAnother great video thanks Mike. I didn't have the twitch engine unlocked and instead used 24(!!) of the tiny atlas vernier engines which i proabably have from a mod. Made it to the mun, landed and back home with 690 science to spend, so thanks again for great, clear, instructional videos.
Ответитьmy first moon mission was like 9 stages and 8000Dv lmao
ОтветитьI love your videos but I'm struggling to keep up with the science and then get lost which of your contacts are the ones I can do from my tech unlocks ..
Sometimes, I just need to throw myself all that learning wall all by myself! :D
Damn I dont have that much science
ОтветитьI can't get the parachute to deploy through the fairing no matter what
ОтветитьI would never build this ship on my own...so difficult! Thanks for the content
ОтветитьHow you got so much science 🤣there a few biomes I’ve never been to liek the desert but that’s about it I’ve even collected materials and surface samples from the mun and had a station for data and I don’t have that much 🤣
Ответитьwatching this at 11pm in a motel on the cheap tv goes hard
Ответитьim so dumb for building my rockets alway that huge when they can be so small, thank you
