I didn’t pause but spit my water everywhere 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂GREAT VIDEO 🙌🙌🙌
ОтветитьHello! Looks like your stapler is a Porter Cable brand however you recommend a Meite. Which are you using? Thank you.
ОтветитьWhere do you get your tools?
ОтветитьYou're my favourite person to watch presently.
ОтветитьYou’re adorable 😊
ОтветитьHi so which stapler is best for stapling swags to a board ?
ОтветитьPlease show us everything there is to now would be really helpful
ОтветитьYour videos are awesome. You make it look so fun. ! I'd love to know if you have a step-by-step set of videos for a novice (like me) to learn to upholster.
ОтветитьCan you reuse decorative nails heads when reupholstering? What is the process of removing them to preserve for reuse?
ОтветитьVery good information video keep up the good work
ОтветитьVery helpful information! Thank you. I am struggling a bit with a round leather covered ottoman. It has a groove cut in the wood that provided a channel to staple the leather and then the leather piping. Do you have any content that could demonstrate that technique? Thanks again for sharing your expertise.

ОтветитьDear Aimee, your videos are AMAZING and incredibly inspiring! Thank you for the heart and expertise you share in them! I am trying to wrap my head around making my own sofa cushions from scratch. I saw your videos on tools, workshop setup and fabrics, but would be interested in the staple materials you use, like which piping tape you recommend and what foam and batting you use for which projects. I would also love a step by step video on how to make nice looking, comfortable sofa cushions, including the foam and batting. THANK YOU!!!
ОтветитьLol😂! Husband come and goes but these last for a lifetime !!!!😂❤
ОтветитьHow to get staple gun I'm from Nigeria
ОтветитьHow much is staple gun and compressor from Nigeria
ОтветитьHi! I love your videos! Your work is beautiful. What staple size do you use?
ОтветитьThe stapler, what brand? Looks like a Porter Cable and how about the staples? 1/4 inch crown or 1/2 inch? Just a thought. Good video, thanks.
ОтветитьThanks !!
ОтветитьDid I understand you to say you teach upholstery classes? Where are you located?
ОтветитьInterested pls make video about supplies for upholstery
Ответитьwhat size staples do you use????
ОтветитьThank you so very much for taking the time to share all of your knowledge!! I've just stumbled across your videos whilst doing some research for pneumatic staple guns after experiencing all those things you didnt want to imagine🤦♀️
I was wondering what type/size of staples your staple gun uses and if you have just the one for all jobs?
I'm excited to watch the rest of your videos. Thanks again.
Love your fabric choices can you share sources of fabrics and sample books.
ОтветитьButton maker i for pleeeeesssseee. I’ve been sitting (actually not sitting) on my first upholstery project because i can’t make the darned covered buttons needed!
ОтветитьWould love to see more essential tools. Great video.
ОтветитьAmy, your an amazing sewer. Great to watch.
ОтветитьThanks for the informative video. What about sourcing all the various materials for upholstery work (preferably wholesale siurces). Where do u get your materials?
ОтветитьThanks Aimee!! Question. I have done some minor upholstery jobs for myself and now face a dilemma. My favorite chair really needs to be re-upholstered but it is a fairly daunting task, or so I assume. I am 6' 2" and have broken my back in 5 places (Long ago) and this is the only chair I don't hurt when I sit in it. I can even sleep in it when things get really painful. The problem is, it is a barrel back chair with fluted upholstery. How difficult is this to do? I have built two foot stools and upholstered them, but they were pretty easy. Just looking for advice as to weather I should try or just call a professional. Thanks!!!!!
ОтветитьSo glad I found you and your videos.
ОтветитьThx Amy , I’m getting started with this and have been reading and studying about leather upholstery.
ОтветитьGood job, here watching from Uganda. East Africa
ОтветитьExcellent thanks! What about a rubber mallet?
ОтветитьI went to the future, came and like to tell you the good news. You still look the same. Lol. BTw, I just got a ryobi t50 staple gun, but i cannot find a power tool to shoot thin wire staples that is half inch long. I finished the repair, but just curious if there was a thin wire staple gun that can shoot through 1/8th inch thick plastic.
ОтветитьHi Aimee, love your videos they are really informative and inspiring.
I was wondering if you could tell me what width staples do you use 3/8 or 1/2”. I’m looking to buy a Meite stapler, I think it’s the same one you’re using in this video.
Thanks Aimee
Love your videos
ОтветитьThe more information I can get the better can a person use just a regular stapler
ОтветитьI was about to try reupholstering an office chair, it has staples put into hard plastic, does this sound like I would need air compressor stapler?, I did wonder if the existing staples could be removed and put back in the old holes or is that wishful thinking?
ОтветитьEsencial video for tools and supplies fabric all of it. Just found your channel.TIA 😊
ОтветитьIs a filter necessary for a compressor?
ОтветитьThe extra tool. Yes please.
Ответитьhaha the scissors you reminded me of mum she was a tailor (never touch her scissors ) husbands come and go scissors stay forever ,, hahaha your to much regards Bill
ОтветитьI meant shears
ОтветитьVery informative. Something I noticed on a chair upholstering segment was a pointed end saw used to cut foam. Is this a necessity or will something else work as well for a beginner? Thank you.
ОтветитьHey, just watched your video. I’m fairly new to this but I’ve taken on restoring and antique French bed. Lots of upholstery tacks! What is the regulator for???
ОтветитьLove that you did a video on your favorite tools!! While I am not a professional like you, I enjoy doing projects for myself and family. I need that pneumatic stapler!! Game changer!! I don’t do anything for public either, but do want to get into doing some pieces to sell. Thanks for sharing your tools!
ОтветитьAmy, when stapling cushion covers, in preparation to sewing them, where are you stapling? In the seam allowance or beyond. Thanks.
