My cousin had a Akita. He was a amazing dog. Everywhere I went he would follow me. Akitas are a great dog but not always good around other dogs or children.

Hachi might have been the saddest movie I’ve ever seen. I was absolutely devastated by it. I’m a forty five year old man. I’m not ashamed to admit that this movie made me cry. My dog died in my arms, and it tore out my soul. Hachi shows how close our beloved pets can touch us in this short time we’re here. Their loyalty and love transcends our species.

The part that makes everything sadder is knowing that for him his owner was still alive and would one day come back to him, so he waited and waited and only went to see his owner when he passed away...

This movie breaks me every time. I’ve had 3 dogs go over the rainbow bridge. 3 times my heart has been totally devastated. Dogs are the most amazing of all animals, unconditionally loyal and loving from their first breath to their last. ❤️💔

I love dogs so much and the ending broke my heart. I advise you to watch My Lives of Dogs (Adog's Purpose )two films ago My Other Lives of Dogs (A dog's journey) also very touching, great story for both films

Fun fact: the original statue of Hachiko was completed while the real Hachi was still alive, and he got to see his own statue when it was unveiled.

In 2023 Hachiko was 100 a statue of him is outside Shibuya Station.

Too obscure for the channel, but I suggest you watch "The Dog" (2022) starring Channing Tatum. It's about an ex Army Ranger who has to take a military dog across country to the funeral of the dog's human partner. Along the way, they have comedic adventures and bond as they help each other deal with the psychological traumas they experienced in war.

Loved this reaction from all of you. It is such a heartbreaking story. As dog lovers you should really watch "Marley and Me". I think you would love it.

Marley and me is not quite as sad but also a true story, more of a comedy. When hachi finally sees him at the end in color, they are in heaven.

U can de-scent a skunk and have them for a pet. They make very entertaining pets!

It's a brutal movie. It took me 12 years to even watch a reaction about it again. How they emotionally built this is insane.

It reminds me the story of Red Dog, whose statue is displayed in Port Dampier Australia. It was called Red because he was covered with iron ore dust but nobody knew its name.
