I don know if you have these on UK cars but there's a setting on the door called child lock that you can put on so no matter how many times Delilah pulls on the knob it won't open from the inside. If you open your door, run your hand on the backside of it and you should see a little while knob with a minus sign that you can turn verticle or horizontal. If this doesn't make since, Google child lock symbol

Watching this randomly on shuffle as I cook my one year old some breakfast...the intro is beautifully made and pulls at my heartstrings, especially now in 2021 and knowing that spending Christmases, birthdays and actually spending any quality time with loved ones is unfortunately a thing of the past.
