Feeling so disappointed I made a lot of scarifice, just wanted to visit my brother for thanksgiving. Why indicate to applicants walk with documents for a strong case never ask to see document, that denial documents I received wasn't applicable to my case of being denial. Just got denied this morning. I am never applying for a tourist visa to the U.S.A again. The U.S. immigration has a big problem when it comes to illegals but never really investigate properly who are eligible and going through the legal process. Just talking in a short interview and they get to decide? So if someone can "talk" well then they approve that applicant. Otherwise they tell you that you can reapply again... so I pay again?? No. I just wasted time and money. I will get rich, travel the rest of the world except that country and never spend a single cent in U.S.

What happens if they don’t specify why your visa was denied?

I got first interview i got denied and i deserved it. Cuz i dont prepare and did show documentation that they dont asked and nervous. 2nd, still denied but i fight for my case and lucky i meet the nice visa consulate she let me prove how i make her believe that i will not stay and work in usa. So i got visa on second time from deny to approved.

Watching a videos or speaking to any ex-visa officer is a waste of time. I have my own business, earning 21lac according to my ITR's, Travelled to 8 countries as tourist or on business visas. Received invitation from US by channel partner, had 7-8 mins conversation with visa officer, it was a rapid fire of questions but she refuse the application and handover 214b, So IT'S A LUCK NOTHING ELSE because in 2018 i got the officer who was not giving visa to any one expect H1B and after 5 years the stories repeated again the officer was not giving visa to anyone except PILOTS or SURGEONS. She didn't even gave visa to a researcher who has invitation from a research company to visit them and complete the further research in US, that research was quite good in explaining her researches, I CAN SAY US LOST ONE MORE KALPNA CHAWLA BY REFUSING HER (RESEARCHER) VISA.

IT'S JUST A LUCK AND ONE THING I NOTICED THERE IF YOU ARE TRUE TO THEM THEY WON'T GIVE YOU A VISA, SO STOP LISTENING TO OFFICERS ON WEBINARS SAYING BE TRUTHFUL TO VISA OFFICER.
THEY ALWAYS GIVE VISAS TO THEM WHO LIED TO THEM IN A SMART WAY.

For all those applying for b1/b2 from India.. Let me tell u.. They only read ur ds160 quickly once u get to the counter and take a call.. 60% of the visa officers decide right away not to give u a visa and then they won't ask u any of ur docs.. Remaining few officers will take ur case and listen to u.. So be careful.. Fill it smartly.. Be truthful but dont mention what might sound like a gap or weakens ur ties with home country.. & then there is no way they will even consider ur case..

Wont it be satisfying if western tourists will experience the wasted time and money for visa applications and the frustrations that people from 3rd world countries go through. Afterall the time and money you spend on applications are gone in less than 5 minutes and thse consuls never understood that time and money are practically gold for some people and they just slapped u with a denial and goobye to your visa fee

Are u aware that some people will have to travel long distances just to be on their visa appointment then get denied in just a few minutes? Have you ever experienced getting denied a travel visa?

The problem is America thinks they are world leaders. All visa officers are trained to reject 90% applications. Usa govt wants the money from applicants again n again. Worst country in the world

The officer never asked what have changed but after some few questions, he asked whether I have travelled outside my continent and I said no, then I got denied again under 214b.Pleased I went there with changes but since I never asked,I also never talked about it, hope I can go again with that same changes, thank you.
