Wow it's been 4 years you guys and Foxes Afloat got me through 3 years of covid. Once we were quarantin I put you guys on TV to see what narrowboating in the UK was all about. I've seen everyone of you vlogs since. It was a very hard quarantin for me due to my sister a retired Police officer taking her life 2 weeks before I retired from work and 1 week before my 63 birthday. On top of all that our cat of 14 years passed of cancer.
But like I said y'all got me through some very hard times.
So sorry about Dexter passing. I know how hard it is. Hugs to both of you.

Hi Paul and Anthony. We are watching your progress and for your decisions with the new boat with interest, picking up ideas for ourselves. The bow bed is a great idea. We have hired boats with these and they are so much more comfortable than one of you being squashed up against the side. Especially when your partner is over 6ft 7ins! Our only dilemma is what to do about exit at the bow.

I'm playing catch up with your videos as sadly my 16 year old cat passed away on 12th August. I haven't felt much like watching TV as it's something she used to love, snuggled up together. An indoor cat that was more like a dog. I know I said it when Dexter passed but they truly do leave their pawprints on our hearts.

Hi to you both. Enjoyed watching your video.... questions and answers. Paul said his favourite canal was the Leeds Liverpool. We are currently at a caravan site in Skipton right at the side of this canal. The site is Nifany Farm, a half hour walk along the towpath into Skipton town. Beautiful setting with stunning views. Have you passed through this part of the canal?

Well done for 4 years of narrowboat Ing! Been following since the begining. Can't believe it myself. Haha!

We actually hired a boat in September to try and took one that would be big enough - just as you mentioned in this vlog. The only issue is that hire boats pack in as many berths as possible at the cost of squeezing the galley to almost a useless size and what should be a lounge (saloon) area still feels like a bedroom even with only 2 aboard. On this context it was disappointing. It also had a really loud engine and the entire steering juddered a lot (bearings were shot allowing a lot of wobble). A discussion of boat design features would be useful in another vlog.

When you get your new boat I've been told if you get an inverter generator you get a cleaner voltage out put don't know if you know this already 😊
