I Hated Smartwatches

I ditched my Apple Watch Ultra and reverted back to Omega Seamaster and Garmin Instinct 2x solar. Got fed up with being reminded to stand-up after a run ha ha - farcical.

I have two apple watches in rotation with the same band. I just switch them out in my nightstand whenever Im around it.

I dont know why people are not more into it, but using the black color looks the best. If you use display uses black as a background the screen and the watch blend into each other creating a very nice effect.

Perfect, I was going to buy one for Christmas and this gave me the assurance 😂.

I have a Huawei Fit 3, compatible with iPhone and Android. It compares favourably with Apple watches at around 1/3 of the price. And has a battery life of 7 to 10 days! I seriously love it. Not quite as many features as an Apple watch but none that I can't live without. Only downside for me is no barometer for altitude/stairs. Build quality is superb

what sold me on an apple watch was the privacy and not sharing Data. I don't think apple gets enough praise for this

If you put it to charge at night it means it doesn't track your sleep. It's one of those things where I personally feel much cheaper options in the market like say Xiaomi do much better job. Sleep tracking is one of my favourite features, and my watch can last 10-20 days on a battery. If I need to charge it, I typically do that when I'm working behind computer so I don't miss any data like sleep or steps. And charging is fast. I honestly don't understand why these bloody expensive Apple devices barely last a day. I personally wouldn't use a watch if I had to charge it every day - too much friction added to my life. Anyway, to each its own.

My Samsung Gear 6 has all that plus it looks nice to. I work at a hotel and have my display always on, and loads of guests are complenting me on my watch, and asking me what brand it is.
