You really do have the best job
ОтветитьBeautiful coins plus what history!! Just awesome history in your hands. I will buy them! Take them out every other day to look at them and ponder the history behind each coin
ОтветитьFantastic. Those are some sweet California Gold coins. I'm glad you sent those into PCGS to get them slabbed. I do like that Indian Head design as well. Thanks for sharing Daniel.
ОтветитьI bought my first California gold from you Daniel and I love it! These are definitely tiny coins though! I'll be looking for some of these on your site!
ОтветитьI remember the first time I saw one of those coins in person. They really are shockingly small. It's kind of surprising that they weren't all lost because of that. Thanks for sharing those tiny treasures!
ОтветитьThe history behind those is as fun as the coins themselves
ОтветитьDaniel, How awesome that you give God the glory! Continue that, and He'll be sure to continue blessing you. You're certainly a blessing to all of us. Happy New Year!!
ОтветитьCool coins Daniel. First time I’ve seen many of these
ОтветитьImagine trying to use these coins for commerce. So tiny and if happened to drop one it was probable a major task to find them again. I remember dropping at early half dime in my kitchen and I was never able to find it again. It probably got under or between a cabinet and was lost probably until the new home owners remodeled the kitchen...LOL
ОтветитьI have dug enough gold to make a coin. I taught myself the refining proccess and minting proccess.
Panning sluicibg and dredging...metal detecting and general prospecting.. its hard to find gold someone else doesnt already own. In 1848 in Ca gold fields you could pull 12 pounds of nugets by hand in a months work from the gravel flats near sutters mill. In fact recorded by many who did so that first year.
I find much more easily aquired and refined gold urban prospecting. E waste. Jewlery. Art. [I refine more silver than gold...its EVERUWHERE!! But same thing ive dug enough galena to mill a coin ....but most of the galena ive found was waste pile leavings only once in nearly 50 years of looking did i find an ore pocket by the sign in the rock... and that was a road cut in a closed to mineral entry district that played out 100 years ago [ they never did get it all]
That is a sweet set of coins. Did you already sell the reject?
How do I tell if a coin is 1857 Indian Head California real?
ОтветитьWow!! Merry xmas to you lol those coons are a once on a liftime find! So awsome to see fractional california gold beautiful!!!! Yiu know when there going to auction??
Ответить"halo" around stars sign of being cleaned?
ОтветитьThe Most High will withhold no good thing from those who walk uprightly. 🙏🏻
ОтветитьI like them all a one of a kind they are all unique.
ОтветитьThanks BrUdDeR @CoinHELPu
ОтветитьCan you review some Apps that identify coins
ОтветитьThats alot of coinage to send out for grading ! Hopefully you sent that out and got them back with USPS certified mailing ! Great video !
ОтветитьCongratulations Daniel, wonderful history preserved.
ОтветитьWow. Color me green with envy! I hope you start a bidding war at auction with that BG-703!
ОтветитьCool stuff
ОтветитьNice coins. Thanks for sharing. 😀
ОтветитьThey are very small,I have one also ,just about lost it once
ОтветитьMan that is so cool. Those will all sell before the day is over. Great submission and results. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьLove the California fractionals. I believe they were hand struck and the primitive look to them is so cool. Call it my bias but considering the low populations and historical nature I don't know why the values aren't higher.
ОтветитьI would say you got a very positive result on that submission for sure. Would be a great item for a California museum with a gold rush display section to obtain as a group. Wondering if it could possibly be sold to a museum like that, or someone (deep pockets collector!) to purchase as a lot as you bought it, to then loan to a museum for that purpose. I think even non coin collectors could really appreciate and enjoy these that way.
ОтветитьIn the early 70s my grandfather gave me 6 of these coins, when I joined the army in 72 I left them in the care of my mother. After that I forgot about them. When she passed away in the mid 90s I looked into what might have happened to them to no avail. Wish I still had them.
ОтветитьI have like 5 graded ngc ones , but 1 is in an older air holder , it comes up on ngc but with no picture ??? And another one a 1/2 bear token which are faked a lot , it scans authentic with a picture , but it just doesn’t look. Right ?? Do you think ngc has graded some fakes ?? Or am I overthinking ??
ОтветитьGood looking coins. Thanks for showing those to us.
ОтветитьI love it man!
ОтветитьWould have been interesting for scale to place one next to a modern penny, nickel or dime for reference.
ОтветитьThank you for another great video thanks for sharing happy holidays.
ОтветитьWhat a nice Christmas surprise!
ОтветитьThose California gold coins are so cool. Thanks Daniel
ОтветитьI have one, they are super tiny. don't sneeze or they will float away.
ОтветитьIf the coins could talk we would get some stories of what they paid for and who had them in their pocket.
ОтветитьBuddy Ebsen, TV's Jed Clampett, had one of the world's premier collections of California gold issues.
ОтветитьAbsolutely stunning results! All things considered, it's honestly surprising that they aren't worth even more than they are. Congrats, Daniel! Happy the collection landed in the hands of someone who truly appreciated and conserved these little treasures.
ОтветитьCongratulations Daniel!!! Getting better than what you thought is always fantastic. !!! Beautiful coins.
ОтветитьAnacs grades significant token coins. And their new holders are pretty attractive. Great results overall!
ОтветитьCongratulations
ОтветитьCool coins Daniel! Thanks for sharing!
