SO goddamn excited!!! I have read ZERO about it, so everything was a surprise to me. The Green freaking Lantern!?! Played by Nathan F'ing Fillion!!! KRYPTO!!!!!!!!! Rachel Brosnan is LOIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to watch that about 20 more times now. WOW And YES. I could not be more happy Taylor Vince is Pa Kent. What a genius move to cast him. A treasure.

The fact they used the house i used to deliver newspapers to as the Kent farm is pretty cool. i literally live down the road from Superman 😂

Superman Returns is the best teaser trailer ever for a hero film, and we know how that turned out. Hopefully this is different.

Still the worst Superman suit I’ve ever seen. This trailer was ass, people are over-hyping this like crazy. It looks like a made for tv movie. 😂

I like it gives off Superman vibe. Like it actually feels like a Superman movie either way happy and hope to Superman. Only negative are the super suits.

Superman doesn't smile once. Mopes through most of his scenes. No hope. No charisma. Same cliche action we've scene time and time again. Lex is over-the-top angry with no nuance. But it has a dog to manipulate tears.

In a nutshell: Cavill fans are still mad and saying he looks too much like Cavill. Reeve fans are still disappointed and saying he looks too much like Cavill. And we all agree the dog looks great.

🤦🏽‍♂️well I was whelmed. Laughably horrible cgi, the cinematography is the SAME guy who did the Flash!!! the trademark 360 spin around fights which hopes you won’t notice the bad choreography, the bad color scheme, a weak Superman that got the Yancha treatment, the horrendous cgi shaggy krypto that looks like it’s from CW. The Hawk Tuah flight cgi was atrocious. Oh and that Superman suit was NOT fixed in post like the shills were swearing. Noticed the world is ending and Superman is not only slowly putting on his boots like that first reveal, but he’s actually chilling with Lois drinking coffee. Lotsssssssssss of slomos here, the world is divided for loving or hating Superman, oh and a moody looking Superman 🙄

I've watched that trailer 6 times already and I think it's just amazing. The John Williams score the action and Krypto make it a really good trailer . Feel better Chris .

Thank you James Gunn, this is going to be the perfect Superman movie.

The suit looks terrible, he does not look like Superman, and when in the hell are they gonna cast a beautiful actress to play Lois Lane?

This is the Superman movie I've been waiting on for decades, based off the trailer. It's colorful. The riff on the old theme. LOVE the suit. Love the colors of the suit. This is the best distinction between Clark/Superman we've seen in decades as well. Him saving people. The little boy calling for Superman made me tear up a bit. It's heroic, inspiring, powerful, and he seems like he's vulnerable in multiple ways. For a TEASER, it did it's fucking job. I was already excited for Superman, but it's now shot up to my second most anticipated movie PERIOD, behind The Batman Part II. I think Gunn might have actually pulled it off. And with almost zero dialog. LOVE IT!!!

Superman crashing into the frozen North Pole area fake as hell with bad croped editing. Superman crater only a foot deep and crater diameter is barely 6 feet. That scene could have been so much more badass. Snow and icepack should've been cleared and Superman should've been partly embedded in a smoke/heat releasing bedrock from the friction of the alien body high impact. Then the goofy caped dog just added insult.

But, having said all the above, the trailer has grown on me and I'm really excited about an IMAX viewing of this James Gunn iteration of Superman. I'll overlook the weak icy impact crater and whimpy enbedding of Superman 8 inches into soft snow.

I really liked it and i kinda want to get Superman capes for my dogs now haha. I love that we are getting Krypto and I'm excited to see where the movie takes us

Maybe Mr. Terrific creates Superman a new suite…because it looked trashed like some parts were burnt.

David Corenswet, the new Superman Actor, was the one who convinced James Gunn to add the trunks back because he believes Superman despite being an OP alien he wants to not be scary looking for the people or even children and the trunks will make him look goofy but at the same time a friendly superhero. Because of that, it sold me.

This is the start of DCU so they added the other heroes but James Gunn said that he won't put in much in screentime but just to introduce them but won't pull the focus away to Superman.

Btw, the Yamcha pose made my conviction solid to watch this film lol.

Love the whistle at the end of the trailer. It's like it's calling everybody home.

Not gonna lie. I’m not liking what I’m seeing. I don’t like the tone or the look of the characters. Everything looks cheap, fan made or something from the CW. This doesn’t look cinematic to me. More like something you would see from a TV studio. Unfortunately, I am not excited for this version of Superman. Going to pass seeing this in theater.

I like some elements about this. The flying into the sky shot is definitely a Zack Snyders man if steel idea. The dog seems kind of hokey to me. Could be good if they get the depth right .

I think you're an easy sell, that's not a dig, you're excited and that's awesome, but to me this looks like SNL alum Chris Katana and a bleached "Benji"... Benji was a dog in movies in the 70s. I wasn't a fan of the Caville Superman, for me we got the perfect Superman in 1978. Both Superman and Krypto were majestic looking, I don't see that here. Alan Ritchson is the perfect actor to Superman, he looks like a man of Steel. Is seeing Superman being rescued by his dog after he got his ass kicked really the first image you want your audience to see? I think it's bad for the Superman franchise, another Hollywood movie that doesn't seem to get its main character. The movie opens to mixed reviews and a line of toys get made that don't sell and Superman gets put back on the shelf because "the Character" under performs. We have the technology to make flawless looking movies, imagine a new Superman movie made with the kind of cinematography we have, like the scene from Winter soldier that starts in the elevator and ends with Captain America flying off the motorcycle taking out the plane and landing in a perfect cinematic adaptation of what we loved in the comic books. I love Superman, This isn't Superman... What a missed opportunity to make the greatest Superman movie of all time about the man of steel and truth justice and the American way... Glad you're excited Chris, wish I was.
