Getting dressed everyday doesn't seem challenging from the outside but when you are pregnant or postpartum and your body is constantly changing, personally, I find it very difficult!

I get frustrated when I have an outfit picked out just for it not to fit and I have to think of something quick on the spot because the kids are up and I don't have much time. So most of the time I say, "screw it" and stay in my pajamas.

So I have decided to stop overthinking of it. If the goal is to get dressed everyday then I am going pick clothes that I know are going to fit. Clothes that stretch. It's okay if there isn't much variety. It's okay if it's just some variation of leggings and a sweater.

Just the act of putting on new clothes, doing a super quick skin care routine, running a brush through my hair, and slapping on some practical jewelry, is enough to get me feeling productive and frankly more confident in my own skin.

For any of my mamas that can relate to this, I plan on sharing these practical outfits as often as I can. I can't tell you how many times I go on Pinterest to look at "casual everyday maternity outfits" or "casual postpartum outfits"

So I hope to bring that research to make one part of your day a little easier and hopefully help you feel a bit more confident in your own skin 🤗❤️

I think there is a statistic that says pregnant women are as likely to fall as 70 year old people. This is due to the center of gravity changing. I could never recommend any woman who is pregnant to wear heels. If you can do it, power to you. It’s just risky.

In the winter I just wore maternity leggings and big chunky sweaters from Goodwill. In the summer I lived in dresses - I look for ones that are not maternity specific as those only tend to look good when you're a certain size of pregnant. Flowy dresses with a light elastic cinch right below the boobs is ideal. No need to break the bank on maternity clothes! You end up wearing the same 2 outfits every other day for the last month anyways lol

Girl i love you and your wisdom!! This is so much smarter than how i approached my second pregnancy buying new shirts and pants since i gave away the majority of my stuff than my first pregnancy! I will have to try this for my third (God willing ❤)
