Thank you for your video. I wanted to buy a tesla but during my researches, it is not a winter friendly car in the northeast; it takes much longer to defrost and you lose a lot of battery range on top of that tesla tires cost more than expected. I concluded tesla is not a cheap car at all.

In Colorado the power company will give you another $5,500 and the state will give you $6,000 for any piece of junk gas car when you buy an electric. But there’s more! Colorado also gives you a $5,350 refundable tax credit. Add in the $7,500 from the Feds (actually from taxpayers) and that’s a total of $24,350 off!!!!

I did this on a 2015 Spark EV when it first came out. I literally made money on the car lease. It was $89/mo for 2 years. My gas bill was $130/mo. given this was a second car, my insurance only went up $20/mo. Zero maintenance dollars. Free car, plus $20/mo extra.
