My local CW poor picture quality No HD available and wavy lines w/standard definition

This is my local CW station WQWQ out of Cape Girardeau MO. The lines you see in the picture are not an affect of recording the screen its the networks poor signal. This is off of my Direct TV Satellite. Dish Network recieves the same poor quality signal as well. Ive contacted the station directly and have not recieved any resolution to my problem:(

Did you ever get this resolved? My CW is bad as well and DTV and CW do not want to respond to any email or complaint..

No I didn't, I ended up getting Hulu and watching all my cw shows on there.

The reason for that is likely because WQWQ is a low power analog station, hence they probably used analog equipment to distribute the signal to the video providers. It would almost certainly be in HD as of at least 2021, if not earlier, since there are no more low power analog channels.
