"I'm ready to die and be free of my sinful mortal ways, but also here's my mob of fanatics to make you reconsider."
ОтветитьExcellent display of power dynamic
ОтветитьPut daemon in this scenario.... how would it differ?
ОтветитьThere's a Taiwanese proverb: Those too poor to have shoes don't fear ones who can afford them.
ОтветитьHated this line…….pretending the queen would allow this street walker to take over the kingdom always made shake my head.
Ответитьwe should’ve learned from meagor, the faith in any form sucks
ОтветитьI feel like this high Septum group appeared to come out of nowhere after Joffrey and Tywin died. Were their any hints of them before?
Ответить“Together, we can overthrow an empire”
So that was a fuckin lie
I swear that sparrow is an evil psychopath , willfully trying to get the throne for himself. Manipulating everyone with the act of being a humble beggar by simply dismissing hygiene and a pair of pants. I hate him profusely.
Whenever someone talks to me with that condescending passive-aggression, i consider they might look and sound like this covert-narkyboi-endboss.
I always found it fascinating High Sparrow's actor went on to portray Pope Francis
ОтветитьThe illuminati twist everywhere and nowhere. Power behind the power.
ОтветитьAIPAC
Ответить"you would spill blood in this holy place?" So you can but he can't? Rog.
ОтветитьSo they would also spill blood in the same holy place? The worst part about the whole thing is that there arent enough fanatics to actually have power. Maybe the show didnt show the actual numbers but is it truele more than the lanister army? Do the have better weapons and armor? No. They can hide everywhere ofcourse but killing the high sparrow was so easy and he clearly was the master brain. It is so unrealistic
ОтветитьHigh Sparrow always looked like he needed a bath
ОтветитьEven if it (somehow) happened under their reigns, Robert, Joffrey (and/or Tywin via Joffrey), Stannis and maybe even Renly Baratheon wouldn't have allowed the High Sparrow to get as far as he did if they were King. If anyone but Joffrey (and Balon lol) won during the War of the Five Kings, the Kingdoms would be so much better off by the end of the series.
Robert and Stannis would know what they were doing and it never would have started to begin with, while Joffrey is nutso violent enough to have nipped it in the bud really quick (or Tywin would suppress it via political machinations).
Only King Tommen I of "House Baratheon" and the Lannisters crippled after the loss of Tywin & Tyrion would let this go as far as it did.
Though, some classic Game of Thrones seasons 5-8 awful writing is in the mix too.
He speaks truth to power. I admire his boldness.
ОтветитьFrom here he went straight into the future and did his bit in the 3 body problem.
ОтветитьIs this the only time they ever mention an empire?
Always hated the fact the king of the 7 realms wasn't named emporer instead of king.
Funny to see the hate of the high sparrow. None of the characters in this show are innocent, all have blood on their hands. Remember Cersei ordered the death of thousands of babies, Jamie push Bran out a window intending to kill him. If you were to draw at random to be any person in this world, most likely you would be a poor peasant, and in that case I would 100% support the high sparrow. Is he perfect no, but a lot better than every other leader in Westeros.
ОтветитьYe thats why you should never arm a religious cult 😂
ОтветитьIt was so kind of Lord Becket to allow Governor Swan to retire to a monetary 😊
ОтветитьI always love it when Jaime gets humbled. He loves to humiliate people.
ОтветитьY'all hating but the High Sparrow didn't have a family, and army, a reputation, he only had a bunch of untrained, poorly armed fanatics standing against all the Lannister soldiers, the gold cloaks and the Kingsguard; he didn't poison or assassinate anybody, he wasn't corrupt, he didn't play the game of thrones but he managed to all but take over King's Landing. Obviously he's not perfect, he's a self-righteous fundamentalist but he's still better than 90% of all the noble people in Westeros.
ОтветитьThe faith in this show is full of hypocrisy. They know no one is without sin, yet they judge others like they were innocent of any wrong.
Ответитьu can overthrow empire ?😅. sure mate. but u should have had overthrown just cersei first. mistake u never make again. but rejoice, u gonna meet the maker, just as u alway dreamed
ОтветитьApes together strong
ОтветитьWho is the cousin that jamie is referring to in this video, whom he killed???
Ответитьi hate the high sparrow so much. he never came off as someone who actually cared about his religion, he felt like he just used it to gain power.
ОтветитьWhy Not?
...why Not taking off his legs and let him watch letting his beloved fanboys get shredded?
Hatet the high sparrow even more than Geoffrey, such a stupid character!
I dont get why people hate this guy so much. Sure, his hatred for homosexuals is disgusting, but characters like Cersei have done so much worse things than him.
ОтветитьHigh Sparrow of the House Lenin.
ОтветитьI know this is fiction, but real history shows how religion or cults that get too much power eventually got rooted out by kings and queens. Religion and cults were powerful back in ancient times because they catered to the average folks and it gave them hope and faith regarding their daily lives. There was trust... and simple people loved that trust and eventually held a strong affirmation that those are the people the average folks swear their loyalty to. But royal families or nobles that ruled a kingdom did not get that same level of closure with their citizens or townsfolk's. The high sparrow in this case was just doing their job. And he knew he would get opposition as they grow in numbers. But the high sparrow hid the fact that they really wanted royal families gone.
ОтветитьPrime jaime wouldnt make threats
ОтветитьSuch a wonderful moment destroyed by the stock music
ОтветитьIn his prime, he would actually cut all through them and walk out like nothing happened
ОтветитьNot with one hand you didn't 😂
ОтветитьAll thos bullshit with the high sparrow was easily one of my least favorite plot lines in the show.
Ответитьeven Westeros has its commie idiots
ОтветитьMageor the cruel was right…
ОтветитьHigh sparrow was lucky that Jamie didn't had his right hand.
Ответить"...yet together, we can overthrow an empire!"
Really, that High Sparrow was pretending to be a religious zealot, but he sáw the power in it, and how to use it and become one of thé most powerful people in Westeros.
He was no fool.
That last line.... people need to remember that
ОтветитьGeoffrey wouldve had his tongue on the spot 😅😅😅😅😅
ОтветитьI dont get why they said empire, should be kingdom
ОтветитьI love how Jamie could have destroyed the high sparrow many times over but immediately realized he wasn’t shit when the goons came out
Ответитьhad it not been for the religious part, the Sparrow would have been a hero. Alas, religion is always evil.
Ответитьshow pretends to be grounded on 'real politics' and lessen the effect of magic. Yet the only way Cersi resolves this 'real politics' is by magical fire... then how danny resolves her conflict with Cersi? Magical Dragon. How the starks deals with Danny? Magically three eyes raven planned it all along. Real politics my aXX!
ОтветитьCersei handles the revenge thing well on her own
Ответить
