Hydrogen fires will be the same. Industrial settings sometimes use a lot of hydrogen and if there was an accident, there would be absolutely no way to see the fire.

there are actually some racing classes which still use Methanol fuel, especially those on Dirt ovals. While there is supposed to be a die added to make the flames more visible, its still definitely difficult to tell at times

If you try this experiment dont use too much hand sanitizer (a small drop lasts ages) and for godness sake burn it in a dish like a metal jar lid or something just so its in an enclosed space and cant spread or drip anywhere else

some series still use methanol. its actually significantlly safer to use than gasoline minus 1 issue... in day light you cant see it burning.

could be a good tool if stranded somewhere and you cant carry on a plane. similar to a 9 volt battery and steel wool. touch them and the steel wool sets on fire.
