Nailed it.
ОтветитьESports in RTS is trash , way to sweaty and unapproachable
Ответитьi only play offline because in ladder I always get destroyed, I didn't enjoy it. but I love the game like Starcraft BW and have fun with it by playing SCHNAIL. I can choose what bot to practice against that equals my skill level. It's fun
ОтветитьThat reminds me, I gotta download that mod GiantGrantGames' community made.
ОтветитьEsports sucks, I only really play skirmish VS AI and campaigns.
ОтветитьBeen playing SC2 since launch and I've never once done an online match. Never did in SC1 either (though I did play those 8 play FFA super fast build stuff sometimes back then). For SC2 I play the campaign or against AI. I also get a Coop match in every day. But no PvP.
ОтветитьOnline so boring. People just spam the lowest level units and destroy your base quick as possible. Prefer co op since you actually get a change to build your base up and use the fun units
ОтветитьPlay to play ... Not to win ... Live it love it or be wrecked... It matters not just a game... If you can make it good for you if not ... Do you enjoy it ... If yes... Go on be your best self ., if not ... Enjoy whatever you move on to ...GAME ... Not life ... But yeah i feel you you make so many awesome moves that break the game but when another player shows up
.. im a school girl do you really wanna put that there...nnnoooooo ... Shsh shsh its okay where gonna make infested together 😂
In AoE2 or SC2 I mostly or only play the campaigns
ОтветитьWholeheartedly agree
ОтветитьFun maps with discord and some clanmate is so much fun , some 3v3 or 4v4 or even against IA! I love to watch pros play for over 20 years in BW (and SC2 now) and thats what got me to play online in the first place .
ОтветитьThat is why I was mad about how SC2 was released, and the changes to Diablo 3.
Starcraft first: I am a Protoss player, upon release there was no single-player SC2 Protoss campaign. I had to wait 5 years and 2 expansions to get a protoss campaign, Zerg Players had to wait 3. That is Blizzard releasing an incomplete game. Full Stop.
On the Diablo front, both the requirement of forced online play and the classes being balanced for PVP in a PVE game [if you just look at the stats of the abilities and ignore the animations, there are only 2-3 classes, melee dude and ranged dude, Witch Doctor is the closest to being different as an indirect dude]. Beam attack, Nova rooting attack, rapid hits, big stun attack, gtfo move, maybe a heal. That's all the abilities. Add to that the fact that all characters of the same class and level are identical [same stats and unlocked abilities], with zero ability to customize until they added prestige levels. This is the PVP balance I was talking about, treating them like MOBA heroes instead of RPG characters.
I still play SC2 on occasion. But I have not played multi player in close to 15 years.
ОтветитьFor i hate they focus in the Esports poop and doing nothing to people like Coop or other things, sorry if it feels rude but when the only good new content is from Fans something is wrong
ОтветитьI would love more lore
ОтветитьI’ve been watching GSL since like 2012 or something. I have only played StarCraft for like two months. Made gold league and went back to playing League. It’s a fun game but I do very much enjoy watching the Koreans play at high levels then play myself. I think I only ever did like a handful of missions in campaign mode.
ОтветитьI still play StarCraft 2 and I'm all about ladder matches. Ihaven't even finished the single player campaign.
ОтветитьSc2 is my favorite game of all time and ive never done a single campaign or coop whateevr mode.
ОтветитьI love sc2 so much I don’t think I’ve touched any of the pvp matches at all and I just do co-op or vs ai. When I do do pvp it’s just with friends which I sadly don’t have any to play with 😭
Ответитьengagement
ОтветитьI wish they make game like st2 co-op
ОтветитьIt's just... why bother? It's to stressful with literally every second wasted means your opponent gets an advantage. I'd rather play GGG's nightmare mode and learn to be better through trial and error, not because I spent a week getting rofl stomped lol
ОтветитьI just finished the gray go the campaign was fun and the story was good. I am not sure what you are talking about.
ОтветитьI'm literally the oposite of this xD
ОтветитьI have played ladder for a while but you have to keep up with ladder and it feels bad to backslide. As the community begins to decline, you have to even more competitive to keep rank.
Also, strategy is rarely what wins you the game. It's usually practicing the same moves.
Also, I was the butthole choosing weird maps on AoE2 just to change up the experience.
Ty Tempest rising for understanding this 👍( ͡❛ ͜ʖ ͡❛)👍
ОтветитьСначала подумал "почему этот чел 1 в 1 повторяет аргументацию Бассета?", а потом каааак понял х)
ОтветитьAnother issue with multiplayer is that since it's a grind for mmr, players are incentivized to do fastest, most cheesey tactics. So if you wanna do wonky non meta build or pretty much any lategame, your only options are either smurfing against significantly worse players or doing it against friends/AI.
ОтветитьAs a "vs AI" SC2 player for decades, I totally agrre on this video
ОтветитьNo cap ❤
ОтветитьOne problem is that esports is a consequence of a fun game.
When the game is balanced and fun, people want to play and compete. But making a game just to compete in it doesn't automatically make it fun
I like the details Blizzard put into the story.
Such as: in "Wings of Liberty", the last bullet from Raynor's revolver, which was supposed to be fired at Mengsk and mark the end of the revolution, but was fired at his best friend.
In "Heart of the Swarm" Kerrigan lost her humanity for the sake of revenge
In "Legacy of the Void" they showed the glory of the Delaams and how close they are to the gods
I play this shit out of multiplayer still but if they kept adding new campaign crap every 6 months I'd buy every bit of it
ОтветитьMore RTS games need SC2 coop, it's honestly such a breath of fresh air. It was by far my most played game mode, I used to play a lot of 1v1 but nowadays, Coop is a lot more fun to me.
ОтветитьI'd add that a robust modding/custom games multiplayer experience is also what made starcraft and warcraft have longevity.
