You can use any kind of container to give you desired feelings. Planting in a boot gives me the feeling of being a young teenager wandering through the woods coming across all kinds of old stuff.
After planting put your little creation in a birdbath or anything with a little bit of water 1 inch maximum for ideal oxygen flow which is needed for plant growth. Also the water will not rot on you Which will kill the plant.
