Merseyside HM heroes Damascus set the tone from the opening notes of 'Open Your Eyes' right down to the closing riff of 'Midnight Train'. Although he's no longer sporting the blonde rock god looks of yore, Billy Downs still has that fantastically soulful and emotive voice on this track from their 1984 demo tape.
