ОтветитьWentletraps are fascinating! That foam in big deep heaps surprised me. I enjoy seeing the sights. Thank you!
ОтветитьI love Wentletraps
ОтветитьI saw a brown and white Drupe was he still alive or a broken piece? Is that why you didn't scoop him up? Nice finds! 🎉 💜🐢
ОтветитьThe inside colors on that drupe are great.
ОтветитьYes I would def still keep the bonnet with a hole - shells like that I put in a bowl with other shells around so you don’t see the holes 🐚🐚🐚 Great finds again today 👍

ОтветитьWow! The waves were crazy today! I'm glad you had your wet suit to keep you warm! Do you find different things in the winter months? 🤔 Lots of great finds today! Love the wentletrap!
ОтветитьLoved the nautilus but my faves were bonnets, wentaltrap and drupe! The shell piles amaze me. I could spend hours in one place for micros! Thanks for taking us along!
ОтветитьKeep the bonnet! It’s better than any I’ve found in Texas!,
ОтветитьThat pick clam is a stunner 😍 and glad you are keeping warm, that's a warm day here in Scotland lmao 😂🤣🏴🐚
ОтветитьI'd love to find my own wentletrap... congrats!
ОтветитьI actually didn't know the drupes over your ways were so different. It's cool seeing what your beach gives you. I've been watching Japan for so long I really enjoy seeing the Pacific versions of the shells
ОтветитьI LOVE the Giant Drupe! What a fantastic find!!!
ОтветитьNice finds!! The wentletraps are beautiful!! Even the broken shells were beautiful! Because I don't have the opportunity to go shelling, I'd keep every single one lol. The ocean is full of such amazing things, I could be there all day and not be tired!
ОтветитьI wish you wouldn't move so fast. Hard to see what you're looking at. Do enjoy seeing your precious finds.
ОтветитьKeep the checkered bonnet.
ОтветитьNo way you found a fossil
ОтветитьWe also picked up a nautilus this winter. The place is the Sea of Japan. Fukui prefectur
ОтветитьThe sea foam is good. Seeing the foam means the biology of the ocean is good. 🐡🦑🦐🦀
ОтветитьThat's a Nautilus macromphalus. You can tell by the open umbilicus. They are only known from deep water around New Caledonia. That shell was floating in the open ocean for months or longer. Nautilus shells have been found as far as the coast of east Africa. Those shells would have come from as near as Indonesia which is a journey across the Indian Ocean. Nice find! Good on yah mate from America.
ОтветитьWhere do you live
