Notice today teams aren't so free to allow their logos to be used in advertising.  When you see a player today in an ad he usually is wearing the same team colors but you won't see a team insiginia.   This is because organizations like MLB now want to charge for the use of their logo.  In this case not only Pete endorses the candy but also the Reds do to.  So if I'm a Reds fan I should be eating this candy.  The slinky world of advertising.
