Getting names wrong isn't just Kent being dumb (though it is that too). No, liars and misinformationists like Kent, like any conspiracy theorist really, love to get names wrong, for a couple reasons. Dumbness, yes. Because they're petty and they think it's a way of getting some cheap jabs in, also. But I suspect the main reason is they are so inherently used to lying about everything always and needing to keep their audiences in the dark that they spell people's names wrong (or the titles of their videos/papers/studies/organizations/etc! all of it! including some of their own stuff!) as a way of steering their victims who have a fragment of curiosity that hasn't been completely destroyed from finding the evidence that would prove the Kents of the world are lying. Same reason they say "evolutionism". Google won't give you real results if you google the wrong name, so they get names wrong.

I have always felt he knew he was lying and was doing it solely for money and could not be that stupid, however the more I interact with American theists the more my heart sinks as I realise how incredibly stupid they are and have zero ability to fact check anything including what goes in their food!
