What I hate about this movie is how fun and sweet it is in the beginning and then the middle towards the end you’re grieving 😭😭

In our universe, Gus is remembered so his fear is unfounded for now. Makes you wonder if we are fiction characters to someone else in some other universe.

He is a hero. He brought light into every person he ever met. What he did for Hazel and Isaac was just out of this world. Gus was wonderful, he was magic, he made Hazel believe that anything was possible, like she did him. How could he of all people be gone

This is my favorite scene of the movie. This is the fault in our stars. We think that we want a million admirers, and our dreams (our stars) are that we become famous or something. ‘But hazel knows the truth. She didn’t want a million admirers, she just wanted one. And she got it.’ Hazel thus sees the fault in our stars.
