Trailer Park Residents In Fear As Homeless Start Breaking Into Empty Florida Houses To Avoid New Law

So sad that America criminalizes those just for being poor.

Anyone remember me saying this law would garb a Commerical buisness problem and turn it into a RESIDENTIAL problem????

That area of Bradenton is very crime ridden. Sad that so many in Florida are homeless.

I don't understand how families can be at peace with family members living on the streets. It sounds like florida is trying to run out homeless people. Hopefully trump will change that issue

Yes it's gross to see human poop on the ground but where are ppl to go? We as a society don't even provide the dignity of one of the most basic needs. Whether homeless or not it's not easy to find public bathrooms to use. Can't even wash yourself let alone use a proper toilet. There but for the grace of god...

I'm all for it in 2024. Most people in FL are not homeless due to choice. They need fucking help. If you can afford a bunch of homes and you keep it empty, then go ahead. Eat the wealthy by living in their empty homes.

If the average cost of a hotel room is $120 A day and u manage to sleep outside, that is worth $120 a day. A lot of people don't even make that working.
Therefore the homeless got the system beat and they don't like that.

They don't help in Florida more like explotation on all levels labor money drugs education a true carnival show

Pic Towne is very bad with crime and homeless people and the cops will not do a thing. Jose was right they make sure from 41 that it looks fine but once you go into the park that's a whole different thing

There's a new law in Florida where you just call the police and they throw them out no courts

I live next to Bradenton and there r so many homeless ppl downtown. I always wonder if it’s like that in other SW Florida cities ?? There’s also a huge drug problem among them. It’s really sad to see so many ppl with no place to live and spending their day standing at red lights for change $$. We really need some good programs to help rebuild lives and treat and counsel addiction.

Terrible for people. Also, where is the law for this neighborhood? Need more police. I think the law may have been passed because as cold happens up north lots come in for the winter. Maybe supposed to stop that. Now add our own homeless and we have a problem.

You keep saying that if you're going to be arrested for being homeless then you might as well break into a house and squat. In Florida, isn't breaking and entering a much high charge than being homeless. In my states, breaking and entering carries a minimum of 3 years in jail. The crime of homelessness can't be a 3 year charge???

That's sad to see, I was born in Tampa in the 70s and remember Bradenton being a (mostly) nice area before my parents moved us to NY where they came from. I'll always visit but I wouldn't move back, y'all have enough NY'ers down there anyway 😂😂😂

It's terrible here, if you happens to be late on your rent a day passed the due date, landlords will kick you out in a heartbeat, causing you to be homeless, and if you get evicted, it's very hard to find a place, plus the amount of money they want upfront is ridiculous high, FL living is worst than a 3rd world country.

There aren't enough shelters in Florida for the homeless. It's sad the homeless have no wear to go.
