My dad has his shelf fall, with a bunch of stuff he had on there, I installed one of those drop down floating concealment shelves, they are super nice shelves. Some of the nicest made shelves I have seen, probably ever. Definitely worth 200-$ or more, you can't get wooden furniture for much less anymore.

I have a safe I refer to as my ready safe. Any guns around the house go in there when we leave, such as my bedside shotgun and my wife's AR. It is bolted to the wall and floor. Everyone has a handgun rotation based on wardrobe requirements for the day. The non-used handguns are there as well. I keep a handgun on me until I go to sleep. Hiding guns here, there, and yonder? Not a fan. When you need a gun, it will be immediate. It needs to be on you or at arms length. I have other safes for longer term storage of other firearms.

I've noticed all of these solutions had the firearms orientated in an awkward direction for easy access. Hmmm. I never thought about that. So my guns are correctly orientated in their hiding places.

Interesting ideas but disclosing these hiding places is the same as telling thieves where to look for hidden weapons. A divided secret is not a secret. Disclosures of this type end up having the opposite effect.

And now the bad guys know exactly where to look,,,,lol

I won't do any of these. Most of these ideas are all over the internet; and bad guy robbers watch videos too. I want to be a little more creative and store pistols and long guns in ways that aren't displayed on the 'public' internet. Once I find a way to create something unique I probably won't create a video for the web or even brag to friends . At least this video can get the 'creative juices' flowing. Thanks.
