Thank you 😁📷
ОтветитьJust picked up this camera, is this guide still good to follow in 2021 with the latest firmware changes?
ОтветитьIMPORTANT Hack : If you add the USB Charger, you can still use the camera & the battery then lasts MUCH longer
ОтветитьLoved your video and bought Z50 based on your thoughts. I have question. How can I view the photo info like iso, f stop, WB on a photo I’ve taken. On my d7200 I just hit the info button when I’m viewing the photo. That doesn’t work on the Z50.
ОтветитьI enjoy this tutorial. Please allow me to ask: How to get Z50 continues powered while in use (for video streaming)? Thank you.
ОтветитьThank you very much for this great video for Z50. I am looking everywhere for setting for stopping display from turning off. It is quite annoying the monitor automatically turns off after a short period of time. Thank you.
ОтветитьHey Man. I start photography next year here in New Zealand. An I am buying this camera. But my question is - What is one of the best advice you could give to a beginner.
ОтветитьSir please suggest me z50 or z6ii with nikon 200-500 which body will be better for bird photography
ОтветитьThank you for the great video!
I've just bought this camera with both lenses. I have firmware version 2.2. I'm not able to switch to AF-S or AF-C. I only have two options, AF-A and MF. Is it because of new firmware? If not, could you please help me out here..
Hello Ken, thanks for the video. One question: why is there a flashing red lightning bolt in the lower right hand of the screen? It looks quite annoying, is there a way to remove it? Thanks in advance!
ОтветитьYou’re great but you go too fast! 😅😅 it’s really tricky to follow 🤪
ОтветитьYet ANOTHER great KR video...super job, Ken!
Based on your advice, a few years ago, I set myself up with a Nikon D7500, shooting with the 35mm 1:1.8G prime and the 18-300mm 1:3.5-5.6G tele. Both do quite well, but man, with the 18-300 on the D7500, it's a bit of a load! I do mostly landscape with occasional forays into macro and wildlife.
Based on your take, all things considered, is changing from the D7500 to the Z50 a step up, down and simply a lateral move?
Lastly, can the Z50 be set up to do BBF (back button focusing)? I've gotten so used to that on the D7500 that I'd like to carry that across to the Z50...
Love this review, still going with my V1😱
ОтветитьDo you use UV filter? If you do, which one and what size?
ОтветитьHow do you connect to a wireless remote made by Nikon? I can't seem to figure out how to cconnect.
ОтветитьThanks for this through review it helps me a lot understanding the settings on my Z50
ОтветитьGood info but too fast! I'll have to watch another.
ОтветитьNice to see a pro who doesn’t give us masses of 180 degree and contrast/ sharpness settings.
ОтветитьHello Ken,
Thank You 🙏 so much for the video.
I’m taking pictures with the exact same model camera you have.
When shooting pictures in Aperture Priority mode, all of a sudden the scene becomes so bright… I have use the Compensation -2 or -3 stop to stabilize the lighting sensor on the camera. I’m very sure it’s not the camera. May you please share the tips for correcting this issue. I thought the camera should lock the speed automatically.
Thank You 🙏
I just bought this exact camera today. This video is AWESOME
ОтветитьJust got this camera and I love it. Thank you for telling me what the user guide didn't cover. I appreciate the time it took you to do this.
Ответитьcan you use the camera while its charging with a power bank
ОтветитьThank you for providing excellent information. I struggle to find information on combination of Z50 with Nikon FTZ Mount Adapter (since if I understood correcctly, I need it to use macro lens Nikon AF-S DX Micro NIKKOR 85mm). Will using adapter affect the quality, operation or setting of the camera in any way? I would be very grateful for any help. Thank you again!
ОтветитьLove your website, and now your videos. Can you please test the Godox V350N flash on the Nikon Z50, and compare it to your SB-400? I think that would be a very interesting video...
ОтветитьHi Ken, what settings do you suggest for night skyline shots ?
ОтветитьThis video is great! I got mine a few months ago. Thank you!
ОтветитьHello Ken! Great video, thank you very much for your work. Would you consider this Z50 as a good investment for wedding photography? Even with a different lens than these 2. Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat video, Ken. I'm intrigued by the Z50. But, I am also looking at the canon r7.
Ответитьthanks! i'm thinking of upgrading my longstanding loved nikon d5000 to either nikon z50 or the newer canon r8.. my boyfriend has some RF lenses. i cannot decide, something that works well and is light is important to me! do you have any thoughts.
Ответитьi hate that cable 😞😞
Ответитьthank you for the tips I just got this camera and I'm loving it so far!!
ОтветитьI have been using your website as a reference for information and reviews for many many years. I started photography as a hobby 33 years ago. I have a D600, EM1 mk1, and two days ago got the Z50 with two kit lenses for 580 euros new. It's only been 2 days, but man I love the Z50. I admire your courage to shoot jpeg only. Maybe I should try it.
ОтветитьBrilliant, thank you!
ОтветитьHi ken amazing video but how do you conect this camera to wifi and blue tooth please !
ОтветитьGood video, very helpful, it would be even better if you slowed down a little, anyway many thanks.
ОтветитьThank you for this video! I feel the itch to upgrade now.
I'm currently shooting with a D5200 and I've gathered some real good used F-mount DX lenses (Nikon 18-200 f/3.5-5.6 VRII, 17-55 f/2.8, 35 f/1.8 and the two VR kit lenses and lastly the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8). The Z50 looks like the perfect transition into the 'modern world' and together with the FTZ adapter it won't be too expensive either. The Z50 goes for $550-$600 used with warranty in some places.
The Z50 i alo more weather proof. I live in the desert so a bit of dust protection won't hurt either.
How much of an upgrade is the Z50 compared to my old D5200? I don't think going down to 20.9MP would be a big deal. Hopefully the sensor is still a better performer than the 24MP in the D5200.
I'm very tempted to pick one up. What is your take?
Being a Nikon user and follower of your mostly Nikon reviews for years. I want a simple life not doing lots of post-processing because it never gets done 🤷♀️and love ❤ how you ‘Set Picture Control’ . I should have done this ages ago. My photos are transformed and comparable to fantastic i-phone shots now.
I don’t even think (really) I need to trade in my Nikon D5500 for the Z50 😃😁
What's your take on the SB 700?
ОтветитьLove the energy and your humor! I watched your tutorial while i just set up my new Z50, this was very helpful.
Ответитьmicro usb? not type c ? seriously?
ОтветитьDid the teacher have the DTs, or just excited about the camera?
That was a comprehensive explanation, thanks.
Hey Ken how would this camera do for airshow photography?
ОтветитьI am a beginner and found the tutorial quite helpful, and easy to understand. Personally his vocal speed worked for me, as I am easily bored.
ОтветитьDear Ken nice and detailed explanation. Thanks
ОтветитьAwesome Tutorial this was amazing with details on the multiple settings and what is the best option for what you’re planning on shooting… and the indoor and outdoor brightness settings 👍Quick question I had a Canon EOS T7i that my husband got me to shoot sports photos for my son. It’s good but he’s thinking of getting the Nikon Z50 bundle with the 250 lense is this a good choice? Not knowledgeable in photography just pointing and shooting. Will definitely check out all your videos after this!
ОтветитьHey Ken, can you use the camera while you charge it? That is with the external usb power source?
Ответить👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьWELL this is a tutorial. THANK YOU.
ОтветитьThanks Ken, a very useful guide! Your videos helped me make the decision to replace my stolen D5500 with a lightly used Z50 kit only yesterday.
