You all are the BEST! My first and only Drone has been the Bugs 2. No camera or goggles with it. SO HARD TO CONTROL! I figured it was best for me to practice at a baseball/open field and I have many times but it’s so sensative. Sensative is good, but without a very expensive camera and goggle set up I feel I can’t really understand this crazy girl!

Would this drone be good for someone who has never flown a drone before?

kind of want one, to get the google´s and stuff for my other drones, but it seems a little bit to sluggish in M-Mode compared to my freestyle, tho i fly with 5S and not 4S

one thing that they dont tell you is this dji fppv drone app DJI FLY is only compatible with certain phones, must be of 64 bit, Galxy s6 or Higher Iphone 6 or higher

Awesome looking thing. As an RC heli pilot, I've always eyeballed FPV quads and thought "meh...maybe someday." I never liked the analog video signal for the goggle, when the DJI Digital goggles came out, I thought ok, this is a solid picture for my own enjoyment of the picture. I like the perspective as a change up for acrobatic, but prefer LoS and 3D RC heli flying. I also like the idea taking photos and video from a drone as well (I dabble in both with a regular camera). Overall, I've just never been committed to get into quads because I know how much time RC heli stuff takes and don't really have the space to manage much else. This package and capability combo is looking super juicy to me for the experience and time saving.

Here's one weird quirk I'd have with the motion controller. I have a bit of flight sim experience too, including helicopters and having one main stick like that is not natural for either a fixed-wing or rotor aircraft. My hands are on stick and throttle (HOTAS) for fixed wing, or collective and cyclic for helicopter and these both convert into how RC world uses transmitters. I wouldn't want a flight control system trying to blend the two for me into one stick which is what seems like it was happening. Maybe I'll check another video and see if that's what's going on

bought one couple days ago.... i own MP2 and a phantom... fun to fly and the fist person experience is fun.... yes its pricey but i work hard and well.....

I'm excited! I ordered mine the other day. I got the fpv combo and got the motion controller. I think it's going to be a great intro to fpv. I've loved my Mavic with the original Goggles. Thanks for the videos!

Do you need a drone Part 107 license to fly this?

Is there any way to have a second set of goggles for people to spectate in FPV or to just use your phone to fly?

My DJI Mavic Zoom Auto RTH at 30%. The DJI FPV would not return to home at 10%. So I hit RTH to make it come back.

Battery charge time and how much is it to refresh the FPV per incident? I can find other models price schedule but not the FPV.

I don't know much about this quad, but I do know the pics I've seen of guys trying to use it as a freestyle quad, it got total trashed. But probably a good camera quad for HD footage.

Best way to throw your money away.

I can't figure out one thing. When I started flying quads, Everyone would say don't fly in stability mode, yet that's how you tell us to fly this. Every Rule that was pressed into my mind was thrown out. This is nothing more than a camera, GPS drone with altitude hold and heading hold with a front sensor. And no one mentions that. That motion controller is junk , it's been out forever.

Kinda wish it still had a all axis gimbal . Would make it ultimate

Very cool. I think you should suggest a feature for the goggles for a version 3 - shutters on power down. I mean lots of micro cameras have automatic shutters on power up and down. And that would be a cool feature that would possibly keep someone from accidentally ruining their goggles. Just a suggestion.

I have a question. How well would a person with impaired vision in a single eye be able to use the goggles? Maybe you could try a blind man test. Where you cover one eye and try to fly with the goggles, then try blocking vision in the opposite eye. I know this might seem like a ridiculous request, but I have an understanding of a person with an impalement. I am blindin my right eye. My lens was removed as a child. And I bought some fpv 3d goggles when they first came out and they wouldn't work for me. And so I am thinking maybe others like me might feel these would'nt work for them. I am not sure because I have never seen anyone do such a test and review drone fpv goggles. I hope you don't think it is a crazy request. It's just that most people have both eyes, but not everyone. And I think it would be amazing for someone to try such a test and give an honest review, because that way maybe manufacturers would see the reviews and take that limitation in to account when designing the goggles.

Obstacle avoidance is NOT like the Mavics! It will slow down but won't stop itself hitting a wall.
