The irony is that their food was actually not that bad compared to most other restaurants on this show. They only really needed a few pointers on the food and a better attitude towards their staff and customers. It’s like they were just determined to ruin things

I feel like they should have a more positive mindset. Like look at it from a philosophical context where you think “Hey this is where I can learn the most from” Maybe the customers complained so that they can make better food and improve their business

Because the truth comes out anyways and if Gordon doesn’t tell you someone else will in a worse way

I feel kind of bad for Amy. There are a few parts the episode, like when she confronts Gordon after his lunch, where I can see (from a perspective of personal experience) that she is insanely unsure and lacks confidence in her abilities. I feel like if she would maverick gobe for a straight up bakery and not tried the food service part of it she might have been more successful. Her husband's aggressive and shady personality also likely played a role in how she acted.

I wish they were still open. I would fly all the way from Scotland just to send the food back.

Genuinely hilarious to me how the reporter at the end barely got a single word in. She didn’t even have to INTERVIEW these people to elicit a response, they just went off themselves.

Such an evil woman.. I will guarantee she hasnt changed.

I legitimately feel bad for Sammy, he seemed so redeemable and willing to take feedback much more than Amy. At least while Gordon was there, I think Amy was negatively influencing Sammy. Sammy was honest about Amy not taking feedback, the employee turn over, and the food not being entirely great. Amy seems like the real problem, Sammy also tried to comfort/protect one of the employees from Amy while Amy was having a meltdown.

Does Amy have a mental health issue? Like, psychosis or schizophrenia? I can see the OCD in her cleaning and excessive need for order in her kitchen, while neglecting the food itself. Did she get abu$ed as a child? Did she escape an insane asylum prior to opening a restaurant with an illegal immigrant who had money? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!
