Two Specials in One!

We start with a look at Star Wars in popular culture and in video games.
We hear from George Lucas, Anthony Daniels, Ray Park, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Bullock, Peter Mayhew and more!

At GDC 1999 in San Jose, California, Victor Lucas and Tommy Tallarico chat with the team at Factor 5 (Thomas Engel, technical director, Julian Eggebrecht, CEO) and Mark Haigh-Hutchinson (rest in peace), the project leader from LucasArts that worked together to create Star Wars: Rogue Squadron for the Nintendo 64.

Then Tommy meets up with Nintendo of America's Bryan Hartmann to chat about Star Wars: Episode 1 Racer for the Nintendo 64.

At LucasArts in San Rafael, California, Zoe Flower interviews associate project leader, Gary Gaber, about Star Wars Force Commander and Victor Lucas and Tommy Tallarico interview Sith Apprentice, Clint Young, about Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.

Victor and Zoe also spend time with Star Wars fans that have lined up days in advance to purchase the first tickets for Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.

Then Victor and Tommy chat with SEGA of America president, Bernie Stolar (rest in peace) about the launch of the Dreamcast and connect with SEGA's Heather Hawkins and retailers Joseph J Firestone from Electronics Boutique and Theresa Castle from Gamefellas. And Tommy chats with Nick, a young SEGA fan
