And to say Russia's air defense has improved is counter to what we can observe almost firsthand. Ukrainian drones have hit their targets consistently, disrupting air travel, shutting down airports, hobbling oil and gas facilities, crippling missile and drone factories, detonating massive amounts of artillery shells while in warehouses...and so on. All talk of what Putin thinks is pure speculation. He doesn't use the internet at all, his ministers are notorious for loyalty but not competence. It is unknown by the public how much accurate information Putin actually receives.
