Where does this come from? From the sound of Frank's voice it seems an old track, yet I don't have it in spite of owning all Seabound albums. Was it a b-side of some single? On some EP? Where can I find it? I need to buy it at all costs ><

The band won't acknowledge if the album is theirs - it sounds similar but is written and produced very differently. I think it's generally accepted as a copycat band, but comes packaged as a download under Seabound with the album title "White Nights"

Thanks a lot for the information! I don't want to rule out the possibility, but I kind of recognize a sound similar to the early Seabound works. Yes, it's produced very differently but there are also a lot of similarities with the sound they had back then. What's ironic is that Seabound released an album of rare tracks etc, but it was mostly filled with remixes, sadly. Maybe they can't release more tracks because of rights issues.

It's not just production, though the technical composition of the songs are very different. Of all Seabound's stuff, there is a wider range in the vocal writing of White Nights compared to the other albums as well as a ridiculous amount of sampling - also very different from the normal Seabound. The one thing that really makes me wonder is that Seabound will deny that the album is theirs, yet no one else has come out of the woodwork to claim it. I love the music, though.

The lyrics sound like something Frank Spinath would write.  I read somewhere that he is a psychiatrist, so the man is indeed a genius.

I agree, this is 100% Seabound, the immense electronica and the deep psychology give it away.

Well, now its 100% approved its Seabound. A new Version of this song is on the Lionhearts Album, a new Sideproject of Frank.

Got this song on a self made tape from an email friend in 1999. He said that his cousin was member of the band Seabound 🤷🏼‍♀️. That's how I found out about the band. Loved the song from this first moment.
