ОтветитьBeen waiting for this, can’t till next one.
ОтветитьBravo Zulu crew!
ОтветитьReally enjoying these supporting pieces! Well done!
ОтветитьPretty Badass boys & girls. Pretty badass indeed.
ОтветитьLETS GOOO
I adore this series
Man, y’all just had to tempt me with fleet actions and shipyards? Please, I can only get so excited
ОтветитьAs a pateron and fan of the sojourn well done
Ответитьwell done.
ОтветитьI am really enjoying the actual product, but these shorts are my favorite.
ОтветитьI cannot get over how much I love the Alessiah class. It's so beautiful.
ОтветитьThe Sojourn will always have a place in my heart in terms of space combat. The designs and classifications are all based on ships from the age of sail and the combat is a wonderblend of naval and aeriel tactics.
ОтветитьYou guys did an amazing job here!
ОтветитьOne thing about the gun drill though, does the Centran’s ships armament aim with human gunner? I mean, they invented a way to be a space faring but still couldn’t developed an advanced FCS for their guns? Even our own world warships has FCS that’s quite accurate (I mean, yeah, there will always be a miss but 1 out of 3?). Or were FCS in the series are more in line with our WW1 warship? If so then it would make sense.
ОтветитьSo cool!
ОтветитьDoes anyone know what Priyadella means?
I looked it up and it's closest to either Priyadi; meaning 'beloved' or 'dear' in Indian. Or, Predella; the lowest part of an altarpiece in art.
She is also apparently the second ship of the Alessiah-Class, which either means 'defender' in Italian, 'truthful' in Greek, or 'noble' in German.
I am not a language expert or a lore expert of The Sojourn, so if anyone has any insights please do tell.
Also well done and congratulations to the team over at The Sojourn. c:
This is sooooo goooood!
ОтветитьI love how space combat in Sojourn is a combination of modern naval and air combat
ОтветитьExcellent production! I can't wait for more!
ОтветитьVery very cool.
ОтветитьThis video is aweseom! Well done!!! I was on the edge of my seat! I am also reminded of Drachinifel's series on Frigate Duels of the War of 1812.
ОтветитьAh the true episode 2 is finally here!
ОтветитьSo great to see more naval combat stuff not enough of it in fiction especially of this quality
ОтветитьOMG...!! THIS..!!
Ответитьvery strong master and commander vibes in this
ОтветитьI love how this reminds me of Drachinifel's series on Frigate Duels of the War of 1812
all the old age of sail terms, and the descriptions of the action, love it
Assuming the Unioner ship fired at a range of 154,000 kilometers, that's a spicy railgun they must be using - at reasonable velocities (20 km/s) that's a shot transit time of over two hours, and the Vanquisher had only been on the same vector for less than one. Accelerating at, say, four gravities the Vanquisher would have travelled about 250,000 kilometers in that time and accelerated by 141 km/s, which is a ridiculous amount of lead to take, so the railguns must have a much higher velocity.
ОтветитьWhat a formation!
ОтветитьThat priority signal sounds suspiciously like Abelard
ОтветитьLETS GOOOOOOOO!!!!
ОтветитьAnother episode of my favourite series from the Sojourn IP.
ОтветитьOoh, looks like we've got a new ship of the line and a new escort revealed in the final scene. The former I'd wager is either the Tripathia's immediate predecessor, not yet displaced from service at this early stage of the war, or possibly a lesser 4th rate, given it appears to only have two quads of heavy coilgun mounts and one of lighter guns. The latter looks to have a similar layout of armament to the Huntress paired with blockier flanks, so it could be the CDF's preceding corvette class, but on the other hand I think its larger than a Huntress, a bit hard to tell without a side by side comparison, and its larger gun turrets look to be be armed with single carronades instead of twin coils, again hard to tell with it being in the background, which would more likely make it some new class of post ship.
ОтветитьI love how real this feels. The way people react and respond is so clearly human, which is so difficult to write. Amazing battle too. I love how the ships maneuver and fight.
ОтветитьI am always in awe to the way you guys show the details of all engagements! Both in graphical, and narrative sense. It is a wonderfull thing to watch, in a sea of dull, WWII style spacebattles - this is a gemstone!
Ответитьis this season 2 or a spin off??
ОтветитьI never realized how many exterior lights these ships have
ОтветитьDefinitely didn't expect the Union to slip that far behind Centran lines.
ОтветитьNew Centran ship of the line reveal at the end. I'm gonna put my money on that it's a fourth rate, possibly a third rate
ОтветитьThat intro is fire!
