I grew up with Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor. I never thought anyone could top Gene's performance as Lex, and then I saw the season premiere of 'Smallville'. Michael Rosenbaum made you truly believe there could possibly be a redemption arc for Lex, even though we all knew what his future held. He made Lex's fall to the dark side so incredibly believable, especially the parts of it that were exacerbated by the abusive relationship he had with Lionel. What extraordinary talent, and what a gifted interviewer as well. Can't wait to see more from MR!
