We Found Brand New School Supplies in the Dumpster – Big Haul Reveal!

College move out might be over but we're still finding lots of school supplies in the trash! One dumpster had so many brand new packs of colored pencils, erasers, markers, and spiral notebooks – those are such great items to be able to find and give to people who need them! Is best to get the recycling shopping bags to take the school supplies.. is best to flip the trash bin lid for an easy find please be careful don't get hurt.. you can put away the printer paper in a Ziploc bag..if you have any.. you can donate the school supplies to an elementary school..

Attention kiddos those storage containers. Can be broken down.. due to the drawers...that table could have been save too.

You should keep the school supplies and donate them to a local place making backpacks for children in need before the school year starts. You would only have to keep them for about 5 weeks and they would be greatly appreciated.

You would think that schools would dedicate a space over the summer for excess supplies to keep for the next year.

in case no one’s mentioned this, you can still sell non working consoles on ebay, people will buy them especially if they are “cheap” … not sure what the going rate is but that would be a quick sell x’s 2 lol

Kelly, check dumpsters at elementary schools that have closed. Its sickening what they throw away at end of school. You would end up with tons of new supplies to hand out!

You guys should do end of school year diving at all the local elementary, middle, and high schools, I know they throw away everything that teachers and students leave behind. You can find tons of new school supplies and things that could be donated. Its such a waste that these parents spend so much money on supplies at the beginning of the year and then when its not used it just gets tossed in the trash.

Take your glove off when you get back to truck and then put on when you get out of truck so there's not grossing up the inside of the steering wheel and any thing else

It really upsets me to see so many new school supplies thrown away. Teachers give parents a long list of items to buy & they ask for multiples of same items. They collect them from the students & keep them in the classroom and at the end of the school year they throw the unused items away. Very sad since some parents struggle to get everything on those lists. 😞
I was a sub teacher for many years & I appreciated that the school I worked for would collect any new left over supplies from all teachers & donated them.

my autistic son has that exact wind up radio one here in PA and one in Tx when we are there and we always carry an extra one. he loves his music
